I still wouldn't change my pre draft top 10 though. Haven't seen anything unexpected that's changed my opinions on any of the prospects besides maybe JJJ and I still wanna see more from him because he seems to have negatives I didn't expect.

Are you Mike Jones from youtube? Your posts are getting more and more ridiculous.

Bamba? Bamba has been a huge negative, on both ends. The game is clearly too fast for him at this point.

SGA can be replaced by any vet minimum guy and Lac will likely become better. The dude is a liability.

I mean... They don't? That's well known at this point. They also gave Trae Young EC rookie of the month despite Sexton and Carter being way better last month. It's a reward given to the rookie with the most hype in the conference. Always has been, always will be. Same as how ROY is just "most hyped rookie" which is why Wiggins won a vast majority of the votes despite being ass.

Like the poll in this thread. Hyped JJJ and Luka getting 119 votes, your choice Ayton and SGA 13 votes. It’s all about hype against reality = watching games and +/- net rating. More or less everybody in this thread is wrong and you’re right.

P.s. nice avatar, shows your love for Luka. :D

You act like I'm bitching over him winning. Just saying that they clearly don't watch games. Never have. Again Trae Young won EC rookie of the month. He's been the worst player in the league so far. It's 100% based on hype.

And the opinion of RealGM is usually nonsense too.

Riiight... the guys voting for these awards never watch games. Dude you’re making a fool of yourself. It’s clear you’re the only one not watching games.

Doncic has easily been the best rookie so far, and it's not even close. He's the best player on the Mavs.

Definitely. I can see JJJ bring considered over him in a few years, but as of now Doncic is consistently producing at the highest level

RPM says that Sexton is the worst. http://www.espn.com/nba/statistics/rpm/_/page/12

And who do you have in the east anyway? Trier?

Opinion of RealGm is nonsense? on the other hand we should rather listen to you? ;) Maybe it’s time to go of your high horse.

It's quite easily Wendell Carter. Also RPM puts Trae Young at 3rd from the bottom. No calculated impact stat is specific enough to say someone ranked 100 is definitely better than someone ranked 102. Learn to use statistics better before attempting to use them.

And no one said listen to me. Y'all decided you wanted to argue this all started with me making a post about how great Ayton has been and then I got swarmed by the Doncic mob for "some reason". If you ask me the reason? Well here's an example:

It's funny you say that now but then when someone opens a thread about a Bill Simmons, Chris Broussard, Frank Isola, Greg Anthony, Mark Jackson, etc. opinion the whole first page is about how they don't know **** about the NBA. FYI those are all actual NBA media award voters. Keep it consistent either these guys know it all or they know nothing. At least I'm consistent with saying their opinions are mostly crap based on hype and narrative. Meanwhile to you they're informed if you agree with them.

Also again Trae Young winning it for the EC shows it's all based on hype. I live in Atlanta and watch them all the time (got tickets to 4 games this year already). Dude is trash so far (shows potential, but man he sucks).

I mentioned Sexton, because you said Trae is the worse player in the league and Sexton should have won the award, and he was really bad most of the season, with the worse RPM in the entire league. ;)

We also face the Kings twice in the near future. I think it's time Yabu pays back some of that free money he's been given his entire career and bounces Fox for a nice 2 week ankle sprain.

Good point IDK if you have specifically said those guys' opinions are crap. I am saying they are. Anyone reading this who's heard those guys' opinions before would probably agree. They're not who I'm using the backup my opinion on basketball and they quite obvious watch nothing but primetime games because when you're paid to watch games why watch games off the clock?

I'm probably just throwing a nod to my boy Bamba more than anything else, but FWIW, he's 4th among rookies in BPM, 5th in VORP and 6th in Win Shares. He's also not really in a great situation right now with the Magic with that awkward roster construction.

His boxscore production per minute is okay, as it is with most big men to be honest, but the Magic are terrible with him on the court – on both ends – and he's the biggest reason for that. As I said, he just seems challenged with the speed and that's a big reason why his minutes are actually trending down. Second worst Rookie in shadow's RAPM, last among all Centers in RPM by far.

Dang, I'm gonna have to agree with you Bob. It hurts 'cause you're my arch nemesis. :)

But clearly Mr E-Balla just doesn't like Young and he's trying to find reasons to justify that dislike. No reason to get into a fight over it. Just let people have their opinions.
