I think the ejection was enough punishment, since sabonis did grab his leg. Plus sabonis weren’t that affected by it, and still played the entire game. Still Draymond is a clown. The fact that he taunted the crowd after the ejection, probably added to the decision to suspend.

Not going to happen. The Kings want to play ball. So do the Warriors it needs to be said, it's only 1 person that's the problem. Let's see if Domas is "dirty" in game 3 like some Warriors fans on RealGM are trying to make him out to be.
Pulling a guys leg is a dirty move. Even the refs thought so as he got a T for it. Doesn't go to Draymond's level, but don't act like that's not dirty.
Have a look at the other angle. You can clearly see he is trying to protect himself and yes his arms wrap around Drays leg. It was not deliberate IMO (even though the TNT angle looks like he did). It was negligent on Domas' behalf for sure, that's why he got a tech. If the ref viewed it as deliberate he would have been tossed as well.
I don't understand how people continually give someone like Dray who has the worst reputation, the benefit of the doubt and make up excuses.
Domas has never been a dirty player, yet people don't give him the benefit of the doubt. Wonder why that is?
I’m not giving Draymond any benefit of the doubt. What he did was obviously wrong. Sabonis is dirty too. He rose upwards as he held onto Draymonds leg. That doesn’t happen if you are just protecting your head. He’s not innocent in this.

With all that in mind, you're saying that players should be allowed to stomp (or perform other actions that are liable to seriously injure) on the stars of other teams upon any (real, accidental, or imagined) provocation without even getting suspended? Flagrant 2 is a fair exchange for injuring other teams' star?
when you say it like that it seems like I am talk nonsense. Of course I am against these kind of intentional actions no doubt but I do not think this "stomp" was that hard to cause any permanent damage. If you watch in slow motion yes but in live it didn't look like that dangerous to me (we should ask Sabonis this =).
Grayson Allen's faul on Caruso is much much dangerous and he got suspended for 1 game. I am saying that suspension from that game is ok but extra 1 game is not fair.

Not even 10 games ago Draymond kicked Herb Jones in the head with his usual "woah I'm out of control and stumbling" bs.

Another wrinkle in Draymond Greens career.
It's either you love him or you hate him and as a Warrior fan myself it usually flip flops every now and then.

Extra game is because you want to discourage that kind of behavior. One can even argue that one game isn't enough, because if Sabonis got injured and missed multiple games, Draymond/Warriors benefit from his actions A LOT.
Regarding dangerous of this - didn't a player in another sports die recently from something very similar? Also, this stomp has more force than medics use for CPR (I don't think we need to argue that a 250lbs person stomping on your chest and then jumping off it exerts more force than a regular paramedic), which breaks ribs occasionally. We're talking season-ending injury potential here. Allen's foul on Caruso differs in the result (if Sabonis was lying with a couple broken ribs, we would have a VERY different discussion) AND in context - Allen's team didn't get much benefit outside that game, and here we're talking going after a star of a team during playoff series (even more importantly, Draymond's team was behind in games won and behind in the game being played) - any Sabonis' injury directly benefits Draymond and his team.
The way the league reacts to this is the message the players/team receive: during playoff series, a player (with a loooong history of similar behavior) on a losing team tried to injure one of the main players on a winning team. If all he got is a flagrant 2 and no suspension, why shouldn't Dillon Brooks injure LeBron or AD during their next game? Finding or even engineering a situation where “he provoked me“ shouldn't be THAT difficult.

So Lakers already advanced ? All right![]()
clearly not, i am just stating that its in NBA best interest, however Memphis and GSW has something brewing too.
