Lol just saw this video. That was extremely insecure and cringe to watch. I'm still embarrassed for Shaq. He really should be be in front of a camera so regularly.

You can't possibly believe that, he now gets some credit for Nikola's performances? SMDH.

Shaq literally tells people all the time that he gets on guys because he knows they can be better.

there's zero plausible way to defend that.
he did it for himself, he wanted to turn Jokic's MVP announcement about himself.
there have been times you could say his goal was to motivate a player, not this time.
if I was Adam Silver Shaq would never announce a NBA award again.

Little fragile Ego Diesel couldn’t handle it if people would rate Jokers career higher than his, that was the only reason he did it

Shaq's opinion while wrong imo - is a valid opinion. it's ok to think SGA deserved it over Jokic (he didn't) but telling it to Jokic's face at the very moment of interviewing him for winning his MV3 is one of the lowest class moves i've ever seen

he wouldn't have done that to an American player in a million years and u know it, no matter how much he thought the vote got it wrong, if the "mistake" had favored an American he would never have said what he said, at that moment

what was way worse was his reaction before Jokic joined, that was ridiculous

Just because someone praises you it doesnt mean its 100% genuine. Not just talking about Shaq here; many nba tv personalities showed their true colors about what they think about Jokic after game two.

Kind of sad how triggered Shaq still gets about the Nash stuff. I wonder how the conversations went between them in the locker room when Shaq was in Phoenix

Why did Shaq pull an Embiid and not show up to Inside the NBA last night?

Sorry but no. but that's IMO

Hakeem/Shaq are all in the same tier. I have Hakeem by the thinnest of margins but picking Shaq is perfectly fine. Just prefer Hakeem's defense and FT shooting (which allows him to be a late game scoring option) over Shaq's pure dominance.

Gotta go with head to head.

And head to head, Hakeem destroyed and humiliated Shaq in the finals. Especially after they were celebrating beating the Bulls and thinking Houston was a cakewalk in 95 finals. Hakeem took out the broom on Shaq

But this would be like someone saying, “shoutout to Kanye for that one moment on stepping all over Taylor Swifts moment, ever since then she’s just gotten bigger, Kanye knew what he was doing.”

Shaq probably "casually" mentioned his ringz about 10 times a day when Nash was around.
