It's certainly a sign of a lack of confidence in a scheming. It's a concession to being outmatched

They are outmatched so yeah, desperate time calls for desperate measures (this is actually not that desperate but it’s something)

What lol??? Why would they do that? Nobody expected the Mavs to make the finals when the playoffs started and nobody expected the Luka/Kyrie duo to work. Its only been one game anyway.

Tricky one. I’d expect a balanced attack from the Cs but Tatum is due for a big night. Personally I’d avoid that bet. The number is well placed.

I expect a more competitive game tonight. I assume Mavs will make some adjustments and tighten up their D with better close outs and rotation. If Cs can keep the ball moving off hard drives and continue the intensity on defense they should still get another W

I mean Kyrie is always one moment away from demanding a trade. He's seemingly been really happy in Dallas and I haven't heard any reports of him looking for an exit, and of course his team is currently 4 wins from a title. But he's Kyrie. And being on a contending level team hasn't been enough for him multiple times.

So could he demand out this summer? Of course. I'd have that independent of how the Mavs fare even if they are swept out in non-competitive games.

And I definitely get why a Lakers fan is the one asking. I think the Lakers are very much potentially still in play for Kyrie as long as Lebron is there. It's very reasonable for a fan to be hoping to manifest this.

Nightmare for Dallas obviously as Russell/Rui/picks do absolutely nothing for them and they'd have to hope they could bring a 3rd team in, but plausible? Of course.

Tony Brothers? The Celtics will be playing 5 on 6 all night. If memory serves, there was a streak a few years ago in which the Celtics lost 14 straight in games officiated by Brothers.

I don't think he is as biased against us now. I recall a game this year in playoffs where he was more for Celtics.

That's not obvious. Tatum is the best defensive rebounder on the Celtics, and the Celtics are one of the best defensive rebounding teams in the league.

As a fact...the Pacers obtained 27% offensive rebounds against Boston, with Turner playing on the perimeter...because we can hurt them

Sure, but he'll be alone there, with KP/Horford fighting triples...in theory, bigger guys like Lively/Gafford and used to boxing would at least have to make some profit.
