Wtf looks so fake. But who's going to play defense on the Lakers? AD was their defensive anchor, unless there is something else brewing this team is going to be awful defensively.

Yeah I really don't get why they were in such a rush to get this done.

The bidding war for Luka would have been massive.

Spurs, Thunder and etc could have given like 8 or 9 first round picks for Luka.

Mavericks should lowkey be investigated for this. Trading a top-4 basketball player in the world who is only 25 years old and entering his prime for an aging star like AD is gross malpractice. Literally gifting the Lakers a top-4 superstar entering his prime. Beyond ridiculous.

Luka came in out of shape and got injured a couple of times. But this is kinda excessive, no?

I kinda cant fault them for trading Luka considering he hasnt addressed the conditioning problems and its led to more and more injuries and loss of athleticism. Rare moment of a franchise trading while the value is near peak
