Either by injury or just plain getting beat, some of his teams outside GSW have had some underwhelming or underachieving seasons.

He's 100% frontrunning again this summer.

Weird game. Even when Phoenix came a bit closer, it didn’t seem like LA was worried at all. They didn’t take them very seriously in the 4th

Luka silenced all critics today.

Generational performance.

I feel sorry for whoever overpays for his services this off-season.

He's also 36 and will be 37 before next season starts. Anyone giving up a ton of assets for him deserves the criticism that will be coming their way by January.

The only team I think he's the missing piece for is Denver. Other than that I can't see anyone else.

Teams like Houston/Minnesota aren't winning anything with a KD trade imo.

I agree with you about Denver this season. At his age, I'm already a lot more iffy on that for next season.

If it was the owner that really wanted the trade (doubtful), I would have quit before committing career suicide.

There is no way that trade gets done without the Owner approving it.

100% Nico is the fall guy. Hasn't the owner gone on radio shows talking about why they traded Luka? He wanted superstars with great work ethic or whatever it was.

Nico is an idiot because of how he acted after the trade got made. Laughing around and being an idiot. He should have just shut up.

But there is zero chance of that trade being made if the owner doesn't approve of it.

I agree the owner had to approve it. But the reporting has been very uniform that this was Nico's idea. And that means he isn't a fall guy.

To really be the fall guy, the reporting has to point to you.

Mavs, Suns, Blazers - neither team appears to want 10th spot in WC. Suns don't have initiative to lose not possessing a draft pick, but players have checked out and the remaining schedule is hard, so battle for not making the play-in will be interesting. Maybe Spurs get the spot at the end.

Orlando bouncing Cleveland in round one would be too funny ;-)

I'm sitting here watching the Hawks/Nets game, listening to the Nets broadcast, (Carter calls games)and realized something;

Unless I'm mistaken, Vince Carter is the only NBA player, to have ever played, in four separate decades.

98/99-19/20

90's
2000's
2010's
2020's

Am I mistaken here, or is there another player who has done this?

Kareem was close, missed by 1 year. Retired after 88-89.

The suns are the worse team to ever say they had a big 3-

KD isn’t that guy at all anymore

Beal was never that guy and is getting worse

Booker is a good player but not good enough to be that guy - he is literally Murray but KD ain’t Jokic…at least anymore

And Reeves is that guy - surprisingly he just keeps balling regardless of it’s LBJ or Luka…

LUKA >> kd + booker + beal

beal = 4pts. he's just wayyy too happy right now. by all accounts beal is a good guy and who wouldn't want to sleep in a hammock all day and make 50mil

booker. was a stat padder before cp3. convinced people he wasnt, now he is again

kd. needs to find a spot where he's the #2 again
