Just be consistent — about Ayton.

I get it. No King and no Don and your #3 went bananas and got you a win. Ayton looked active and engaged. It was a good day.

But you CANNOT hitch your wagon to Ayton. If you do, it’s just gonna hurt more later. The dude just doesn’t care.

Boxscore on league pass says 22- 15 :) , I've predicted 20-12 when we got him, fingers crossed.

It was a nice era Luka, but you are now the SECOND best white boy on the team.

Wolves have such perfect chemistry now, I knew they'd be #1 or #2 this year, they were way better than a 49 win team last year, as their biggest winning streaks were after the all-star break as their chemistry improved... ANT has a near perfect supporting cast (I know, Conley is old, but he brings exactly what they need, calm and high-IQ), at least perfect enough for a 3rd straight trip to the Conference Finals.

Hey we are the 4th oldest team in the league, just be patient!

Seriously? I thought there was a youth movement going on

Only the Rockets, Warriors, and Clippers are older. And looking at their roster it does make sense.
Westbrook, DeRozen, Saric, Schroder, Lavine, and McDermott are all 30 or older and Sabonis is 29.

I don't understand people continuing to say this. Nobody's "hitching their wagon". He's a good starting center and any given night the 4th/5th offensive option on the Lakers. So far he's well overplaying his contract and bringing it on both ends. These Ayton truthers be like "just ignore everything good he does and you'll see how much he sucks when he does something bad". Yeah, you're describing like 90%+ of the league.

He’s not a good starting center. Thinking otherwise based on a good game or two is the problem I’m describing,

Also worth noting he was a -6 in a game the Lakers won by 7. Vando was +15.

Not to be a dick but did you watch the game? He's playing like a good starting center. He looks motivated on both ends. When he's not motivated, he's called a bum. When he's motivated it's a fluke. What you're experiencing is a role player. It's perfectly possible for such players to find the right situation and click as they enter their primes. Or just be the same guy they've always been but that be serviceable enough.

Your number 3 almost put up a 50 point triple double. Probably flopped as usual for those free throws

I watched part of the game. And I already said Ayton looked motivated and good today. But that’s not the point.

You’ll see soon enough. Ask anyone in Phoenix or Portland.

Plus, our two rookies are 22 and 23 years old and you have Keegan and Carter at 25 and 23 years old. This is a team that clearly was built to prioritize winning now which was the dumbest thing we could've done.

My expectation for him is last year's Ayton + the Luka offensive bump. So far he's surpassing that. I'm just calling out this presumption from other team's fans that the Lakers or Lakers fans view him as some kind of quasi-star. I can assure you we don't.

And again, plenty of career doofuses have put it together as they've matured. It's possible he improves, but even if he doesn't we're good with that.

I think people are underestimated how hard it is to find a center that can score 15 10 on good efficiency, Phoenix found out the hard way that just swapping Ayton for Nurkic or Nick Richards is a massive downgrade even with all of Ayton's faults.

If you're expecting him to live up to the expectations of a #1 draft pick you'll be disappointed but as a 3rd or 4th star he's really not that bad of a center.

Yeh, you say that now because Lakers win and you got not nothing, when they lose you talking smack, see you in the playoffs, then we'll talk.

Sacramento is so bad. How they expect to play defense or win when a majority of their minutes go to Shroder, Monk, Westbrook, Lavine, Derozen? Just laughable stuff.
