I too am excited for a game 7. I think we both let games go that we should have or could have won.

And both teams are very deserving to be here.

Maybe - but the winner will be tired, playing against a fresh Miami team with home court.

Agreed. I think Miami gets game 1 regardless of who gets through. It’s been an absolute dog fight so far while they haven’t really had a physical series yet.

Not only that, but the ECF starts Tuesday and goes every other day for the whole series. I was surprised they didn't push it out a day or at least have two days rest at least once in the series.

the reason we play hill is because if we dont we have to play more of either allen or guys generally regarded as scrubs. and by scrubs i mean javon carter and the other dudes.

at this point sure toss carter out there for a few minutes and see if theres magic but lets say that fails..... well actually choosing to play carter and benching hill and then losing because carter sucks.... well THAT is what gets coaches fired

where we effed up is trading donte for ibaka. my god that deal looks bad now

One of the best games I've ever watched. A classic. 44 pts Giannis and 46 Tatum... Felt a bit like Kobe-lite Tatum vs LeBron lite Giannis (not quite lite). These guys will battle for the East for years to come...

It is a joke that they start the next series with just 1 day of rest. Boston or Milwaukee deserve better than that. 2 days rest before series should be the minimum. Games every other day are fine but need more rest between series than 1 day.

As a Celtics fan I don't want to give Bucks coaches advice but why not play Pat C 36 or 37 minutes if you have no confidence in other players? He has played well.

It dawned on me that Jayson Tatum is probably the closest thing to a modern day Brandon Roy stylistically, right down to the high release

This series is what everyone thought Celtics-Nets would be. The road team has won 4 times, numerous close and hard-fought games, and numerous amazing performances. The stars on each team have all had their moments: Jaylen with a blistering shooting night in game 2, Horford saving the C's in Game 4, Jrue ripping out the C's hearts in Game 5, Tatum with an immaculate Game 6, and Giannis being a monster all throughout the series.

Celtics are really determined to show everyone they have what it takes to be champs, while the defending champs are really determined to show everyone the heart of a champion. What an unbelievable series.

Game 7 is gonna stress C's and Bucks fans the **** out. For everyone else, just enjoy the show these two teams will put up. It's gonna be a rocker, and there's no better place than TD Garden with the best fans in the world roaring their hearts out. Let's **** go!!!

yeah if the Celtics drafted Giannis instead of Olynyk

Technically, Boston didn't draft Olynyk. Dallas did and then did a draft swap with Boston, who gave them some jabroni whose name I can't remember and don't feel like looking up. But yes, it is possible (assuming Dallas was still willing to trade the pick) that Boston could have had Giannis.

But carter is understating it. It's not just imagining a team with Tatum and Giannis. It's imagining a team with Smart (who they likely still get because rookie Giannis isn't making them any better), Brown (who was also a Brooklyn Nets pick so Boston was getting him regardless), and Williams (who they got with the 27th overall pick. Still a good possibility he ends up there).

So in other words...

Smart
Brown
Tatum
Giannis
Williams

Imagine the defense. Just imagine it for a second. Imagine how difficult it would be to score on a team like this with the coaching that they had. That's one of the most absurd defensive lineups I've ever seen just on paper alone, but the length, versatility, and aggressiveness we'd be seeing from this team on that end? Absolutely scary stuff that I don't want to imagine and am thankful that we don't have to.

Actually, not Smart. When they signed Hayward, cap room required letting one of Olynyk or Smart walk. They let Olynyk go. If they'd had a keeper -- Giannis -- in Olynyk's place, then Smart would have walked instead.

Hill looked done at the end of the regular season before getting injured, why would anyone think that would change after coming back from this injury; meanwhile Jevon gave us a spark in the Playoffs before getting these DNPs. Literally the only argument for Hill over Carter is size.

Do you watch NBA basketball?

Strange these dudes aren't rushing to post the 5 step spin move and one that Tatum got eh?

Just accept Giannis gets a magic whistle.

We won. But also Giannis gets these absurd type non calls

Honestly not trolling seriously curious he’s been downright horrific and killing you guys on both ends. Javon was quietly playing great too.

That’s the hot topic on our board right now, I wish I could explain it and somehow relay to Bud it’s a stupid thought process.

I figured as much. I get maybe like a game or two of leniency but it’s been four games and he’s been getting worse arguably.

I don’t think he’s taken 1 single jumper either.

Both Bucks and Celtics must have one of the worst benches in the league.

the 2nd argument is experience. the third argument is resume. the 4th argument is who their teammates trust. the 5th argument is who the coach trusts. the 6th argument is experience. the 7th argument is resume. the 8th argument is system familairity. and then 9th of course most importantly experience

joking obviously but carter over hill is not how nba coaches do it midseason and especially in the playoffs. thats a decision thats made in offseasons and this offseason im sure it will. the solution wont be either of those guys

Will be interesting to see if Giannis can win back to back game 7 on the road in multiple years
