That said....Boston is by far the most physical team Warriors have played. Hats off to them for stealing game one.

They didn't steal it. They dominated the entire 4th quarter and buried the Warriors.

Offhand, I can recall him singlehandedly setting up 2 makes in the critical stretch when they pulled away. But I agree, it's a combination of drawing the attention and making the right passes, as opposed to him being some master ballhandler/passer.

The run in the 4th started with Jaylen scoring or assisting in 14 straight points with little involvement of Tatum in the offense

You want to purposely talk past me, fine, but don’t think it’s not obvious. I specifically said “in the critical stretch when they pulled away.” Not trying to argue with you but I guess you’re mad at the result or something.

Warriors need a second star player.

Draymond is a fool

Making light of horford, smart, white shooting 15-23 from 3

Tatum was 3-17 or so. Thing is boston can beat you multiple ways

Tatum might drop 40 next game with grant williams hitting 5-7 from 3

Can’t blame us when the last week has been filled with Warriors dicksucking. Muh Steph is greater than LeBron! Muh Klay is the coolest raddest dude ever and totally doesn’t need to grab and hold opponents on every defensive possession. Muh Draymond is still the best player in the world!

I had hoped my Raptors ended this meme when they slapped you every game in Oracle and shuttered the arena on the way out, but they didn’t double tap and now Boston has to finish the job.

warriors look exactly like post kawhi raptors. they still need their kd, kawhi batman to rescue them. not a bad team but no closers.
Doncic will be goat. Lauri will be his sidekick.

Embarrassing lmao. Pure copium. “T-they won’t shoot that well again!”

And Tatum was exceptionally cold…. Dray this is a problem -

Tatum is a all nba 1st team two way player -

Curry has 21 in the first and 6 3s and y’all had 12 point lead in forth and lost by a ton .

Dray is right that none of these things are likely to happen again Which bodes worse for GSWs

Warrior's True Kryptonite

Post#2429 » by Wammy Giveaway » Fri Jun 3, 2022 4:20 am

Only three things can defeat Warriors:

1. Curse Breakers: A team performing a Herculean feat. For example, the first ever 3-1 comeback in Finals history achieved by Cavs
2. Kawhi Leonard: Former Spur who plays for the good of the sport, and not for entertainment
3. Celtics: A perfect 4-0 record vs. Warriors since the 1958 NBA Playoffs

How can I prove the third fact? This is the fifth straight Game 1 win vs. Warriors in all of their playoff meetings.

The Warriors lost because they couldn't score on Boston's defense, and ended up being stuck with 103 points for like the majority of the 4th. Draymond and company can tell themselves they lost just because Boston was hitting 3's, but both teams are likely to hit less 3's next game.

Unbelievable! These Celtics look like a team of destiny!
Warriors have blown many big leads in 4th this season.

Are they juicing Al Horford? Gotta test him for that game!

Eric Millegan wrote:Problem with Warriors is they’re one of the worst defensive teams ever and they’re a jump shooting team that can’t make a shot in the final minutes of games that matter. Basically, they don’t have a legit superstar. Not surprised with tonight’s result. This is probably a sweep. Warriors just don’t have talent to compete at this level.

Wrong wrong wrong

If GS doesn't rally Sunday, we're looking at a sweep. No way the Celtics lose at home to these chumps.

Ya haven't been watching the playoffs if you think C's are a lock at home!
Would love for you to be right tho!!!

I've been to almost every home playoff game, in person. Yes, they lost to the Bucks and Heat, but both those teams are better than the Warriors. Celtics will win games 3 and 4 comfortably. They're getting more rest between games, benefitting Horford and RobW tremendously. So I'm calling a sweep right now.

If ya take the Finals expierence away, these are teams with similar playoff expierence for those who played in the rotation for each team tonight.

596 games vs 528 games.

Actually hitting his typical barely off the ground 3's = juiced?

If Warriors blow this, they'll get a lot of critique for hanging on to their picks the last 2 years instead of cashing in for immediate help.

Miami made the right adjustments after game 2 when we hit 20. They stayed home on our shooters after that. The Warriors don’t have the individual defenders to do that though.

This time it wasn't even the Celtics shooters though.

Derrick White and Horford are not supposed to be knockdown 3 point shooters.

I think thats why the Warriors got caught off guard. Their game plan was probably to let those guys shoot.

Horford has been shooting t above 40% for a long time.

White’s a better shooter than he has shown. Celtics feel he is a much better shooter than his numbers, which is why they traded for him.
