It all adds to the theatre and drama of the occasion.

It's honestly great to have a pantomime villian like Hali back in the NBA.

A player who talks the talk and walks the walk.

This was a magnificent underdog performance by the Pacers. Loved it

They actually didn’t even capitalize on every opportunity given them by the Knicks. There were a couple of times the Knicks looked to throw the ball away but avoided disaster.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

That said I know if I'm a Knicks fan (which I'm not) they're better off losing now than in the Finals because those guys in Oklahoma will give Brunson a lot of trouble.

It's better to NOT play in the Finals? Obviously you don't realize how dumb that sounds.

Losing in the Finals crushes a teams spirit. Especially those franchises who have longed a championship for quite some time (Knicks). If this series goes the distance Brunson will only increase his mileage only to meet a yoked up defensive juggernaut in the Thunder. You don't think Alex Caruso isn't licking his chops at the opportunity to check Brunson full-court? It won't be nice unfortunately.

I still think the Knicks are the better team but now there a good chance we have a helluva series and I think the deeper it goes the more the Indiana depth can pay off.

That was huge. Now we probably have to go the distance if we're gonna take this. That was some crazy shot making and a wild choke on our part. Until next time.

The gentleman’s sweep is when you are up 3-0 and then give them a game before winning 4-1. This would be the douchebag sweep.

I like Hailburton as a player and he seems like a really good guy but holy hell is he annoying on the court, makes me root hard for the Knicks. Guy is throwing up the choke hold after hitting a lucky shot that tied the game. Par for the course with Hali

Pacers were the best team Boston played on the way to a title last year. And they're a notch or two better this year. After OKC, they're my fave to win the title.
The most charitable interpretation is that it's ethnic cleansing and massive war crimes.

Jadoogar wrote:Lol yes there was. Celtics, a really good shooting team all season, were unable to buy a bucket for long stretchs. If they shoot 30% instead of 25%, they win both games easily. For reference, the worst team in the league shot 32% from three.
Isn't that stat useless since every team is within 7.9% of each other? Orlando is kind of an outlier. The spread is 5.2 without them. How can you derive any statistical analysis out of a spread that small?
