raptors had a chance to take this one, but just quinn cook really did damage. bogut helped out alot as well. refs seemed to let raptors play physically

Raps it's game of adjustments. Kawhi needs few more touches and FVV and Lawry needs to get inside. Y'all can wi on it in GS.

Eh? Bucks don't have Draymond Green, Iggy and Klay. That's a premier D all day.

Kawhi made a living at the rim and the FT line. Plus bricked a bunch of open 3's

If the refs keep trying to keep the game close, yup it will be, close games do not favor the raptors, when they legitimately should be up big, they cannot let the zebras make what should be a 15-20 pt game into a 5 pt game at the half

1-1 series. Maybe we can all avoid the post game 1 mistake and let the series play out a bit before making sweeping conclusions.

Refs tried to gift this game to the Raps. Can't breathe on Kawhi without a whistle, yet Steph is backed shoved hand checked no calls. Kawhi FOULS on every offenseive possession yet its never called!

Did we watch a different game? Raps would have been up 15+ going into the first half if it wasn't for the blantant one side officiating. Warriors deserve an asterisk next to this game. Wrapped up, and put in a pretty bow. Pathetic.

oh sod off duster. One sided officiating? Kawhi couldn't be breathed on. Gasol should have fouled out in the First half with his offensive fouls. The same goes for Kawhi who puts his shoulder and elbow down every single time "OOOOH SOOO STRONG" he initates the contact yet gets the favorable whistle.

Initiate contact? Let's talk about Curry. Kawhi plays strong, Curry flops. Major difference.

If you can't see how favorably the Warriors were officiated in the first half, you're not even worth talking to. Peace.

They absolutely belong, which is why they’re here.

Can’t wait to read these post game takes

No the raptors don't belong.
Games like tonight are why I think there should be some kind of tournament leading up to the Finals where teams have to prove they belong and deserve to advance. Like idk maybe have 30 teams play 82 games against each other, and then the top 16 teams move on and play several 7 game series against each other to decide who belongs in the Finals.

Curry is the best player on the court.

When the opposing team is sending 2 and 3 players at him every single possession, you know damn well who it is.

Yeah I don't really understand this line of thinking, they were playing a box+1

I think he was saying they don't understand the importance of certain moments and didnt react. I agree. During that 6 minutes they looked like a team with no experience or leadership.

The NBA changed the format. I always thought it was 2-3-2 for the Finals.

Yonks ago

Edit: since 2013, thought it was a lot longer than that

DowJones wrote:Paul Pierce is absolutely awful at his job. His big takeaway was is that Toronto "didn't want it bad tonight". Just awful. It is embarrassing that ESPN hired him.

Not saying paul ain't awful but when you come out in second half and don't score for nearly 6 minutes, it would seem like you don't want it bad enough.
