I was afraid Boston would get this one. It really felt there would be a game 7. They took the lead then for some reason they got tight and the heat got confident. The game swung so quickly.

This was a friendly series between fans on these threads. Not like other years. Celts will be back next year. They are young and talented. They got a good coach too. He needs to take the next step. No need to replace him, not many better options.

They need a Jimmy Butler. A dog that needs to win now cause time is running out. Maybe Walker was supposed to be that, but CP3 would do it better.

Heat fan here, hats off to all Boston fans, honestly lots of class from almost every poster I saw here.

This was a tough series, and Boston didn't give up. I would not have wanted to face you guys in a game 7.

His ankle about 50 percent. Shouldn’t have even been on the floor.

I agree The Celtics need a leader. Kemba's not that guy. Smart tries to be but he's not good enough. Tatum as much as I love his game doesn't have that type of personality.

Thanks, man. I mean, what else can you do? Even if it's the Lakers who beat us, I'll probably do the same even if I'll be raging inside

Heat Culture is real, and it smothered the C's for the whole series. Our guys need to get tougher, and I have no doubt that they will be by next season. My only hope is that Tatum, Brown, and Smart play together in Boston for the next 10 years. That's all I ask for.

Go Celtics, forever and ever.

Who would have thought Bam was the best player in the series? Overrated Tatum getting exposed finally.

A few things.

- Congrats to the Heat. They’re a team that just doesn’t give up. They play team ball which is what I love to see and are tough on defense. I think the Lakers will be in for a surprise.

- Thanks to the Heat fans who stayed classy in victory.

- Funny to see all the Raptors trolls roll up after this game. It’s the usual suspects so I’m not surprised at all.

- I’m interested to see if Miami plays zone against the Lakers. The Lakers have great size in the middle to be able to punish them.

- To those saying Tatum isn’t a superstar, tell me how you define one? He has the stats, he has the conference finals appearances at a young age, what more do you want?

There was a point when Smart had half as many shots as Brown had. That was unacceptable, and that's when I knew we would probably lose the game.

Jaylen needs to take the leap as our consistent #2 option next year, and the coaching staff needs to emphasize that. Given how big his improvement was this season though, I wouldn't be surprised if he somehow closes the gap between him and Tatum next year to make them 1a and 1b for this team. That's assuming Tatum doesn't take another leap though, which I'm confident he will. For next season, these two guys need to improve on the following:

Brown - playmaking, tighter handle, better help defense
Tatum - tighter handle, finishing through contact, be more physical for more FTs

These two need to play together for a long time. They complement each other so well.

Heat are a good team. What do peole want? Don’t have a hall of famer on the roster, but have really good players in Butler and Dragic and of course Bam has been terrific.

I like how the Miami team plays. They are good in the bubble because they execute.

Weird season so far. It is September and the nba finals is starting .
