Nuggets were seriously impressive this series. They shut a lot of us up. Still can’t believe it was a sweep… wild.

I wouldn't mind seeing him in the Nuggets uniform next season.

30-35. Based on the 2020 top 100 project, I can’t see how you don’t pick him before Harden at 31, but Nash is interesting too at 27.

I was cheering for the nuggets but hell of an effort from the Lakers. Especially lebron, played every second, 40 points and some really clutch defense down the stretch.

One of the most entertaining 4 game series of all time

Honestly if he keeps playing like this through the Finals I could see top 10. This peak is an all-timer.

that means you aren't old enough to have watched MJ play. just reruns, right?

we'll never know how MJ would have fared in such ages had he not retired, changed his body and generally had about 5% of LBJ's professionlism and body maintentance at those ages

LBJ is incredible regardless and he was incredible tonight, but MJ is still easily better and always has been

MJ was a better scorer, more skilled and a better defender, but Lebron passes and rebounds better. MJ is overall slightly better, but the longevity, professionalism and dedication of Lebron should count for something.

you're moving the goalposts now
you said that you doubt Jordan could do at 38 what LBJ did this season and all it tells us is that you aren't old enough to have seen MJ in his day

yeah, he took a completely different career trajectory after the first retirement, but he could have absoultely do what LBJ did at 38, had he gone that route

longevity its longevity, it's super impressive and it def counts for something
for alot of things...like the playoff scoring record and the overall scoring record, and other amazing milestones, def top 3 material but sadly for him - not Goat material

edit: longevity isn't just about the physical aspects it's impressive mentally as well
kinda hard to stay that motivated when you're a billionaire and have been doing this for so long. that's hella impressive and I doubt we'll see it again anytime soon

maybe in a generation or two

You can't compare longevity across generations. Longevity improves as sports medicine improves. Lebron would not be playing at this level at age 38 if he was an athlete in the 80s/90s.

How did Embiid win the mvp over Joker? No way Embiid could do what Jokic just did int he wc playoffs.

same here but that's what they call "good problems"

Same here , but I’m leaning towards Nuggets since they never won a chip compared to Miami and they deserve it , but then Jimmy deserves one too

I doubt Jordan could do what Lebron did this season at 38 after 20 years in the league.

You're right because he had already done more in much less time lol. 6 rings on 1 team vs 4 rings while ring whoring for 13 years lol.

All these fans trying to peddle longevity on us like we're supposed to be impressed with his numbers in this statpad era. Threepeats are extremely hard to do. Jordan accomplishing it twice is just crazy. Lebron can't even do 1. That is just dominance to me. 4 titles spread out through a 20 year career just doesn't compare. There's nothing wrong with being #2.

The NBA lost as a whole tonight. The Ham and Mazzulla chess match in the finals was going to be one for the ages

I think the Lakers figured something out. Yes they lost today but they have more reason for optimism going on in the future.

Just like you can't compare how good LeBron would have been in the 80s and 90s. No one really knows both things. LeBron might have been a better player back then, it's impossible to know

Ya'll are crazy. He instantly passes Dirk and KG. Somewhere between 12-18 with a real possibility to enter Top 10. If he wins 2, he probably overtakes Shaq in the Top 10 since he didn't have a Kobe or Wade. His passing is so elite. It separates him.
