Curry need some help from offensive end, can't have him getting double/triple teamed in most of 4th quarter minutes and Warriors going scoreless in like 4 minutes
When KD is out, it is ok because they still have Klay out there to help him
When Klay is also out, Warriors have to rely on Draymond or other role players to step up offensively

Warriors is too lucky to walk out with a win this game
Had Klay gotten injuried earlier, Warriors would be down to 0-2 going back to Oracle

I really like Lawry but I think Dawny and Kawrie also need to step up

Raps can't score under pressure and they can't pass one's Gasol and Kawhi on the bench. Good job by Kerr utilizing it.

GTFO lol. Were there bad calls in favour of the Warriors? Yes. There were just as bad calls favouring the Raptors... and this is towards the end of the game.

Raptors blew this, pure and simple. No KD, no Klay, no Looney... and you guys still lost AT HOME.

All of Toronto's players were in foul trouble in the FIRST HALF, obviously they could play no defense in the second half. Refs were TRYING TO MAKEUP for the fact there was no KD, no looney etc.

Oh yeah you're right. I'm so sorry I didn't recognize how all those foul caused the Raptors to miss everything and go scoreless for 6 minutes on that 18-0 Warriors run.

Seriously. Bitching about and blaming the refs for the loss just make you look silly and petty.

How many fouls did cousins finish with5, how many did lowry finish 6, I'll jsut take one of the terrible calls in the first half, instead of cousins sitting with foul trouble, he gets away with a charge in the first half, Cousins should have been the won who fouled out in the game and raptors should have had lowry in the game for his threes late.

This game was a a complete disgrace in the first half

Raptors are done when it looks like Klay is hurt and might be done ….weird thinking, KD still looks ginger in the tunnel

Honestly, the raptors need to game plan boogie and bogut. They're doing a terrible job exploiting two guys with poor lateral speed. Instead they're letting Boogie be a free safety instead of putting pressure on him.

You cant shoot below 30% from 3 and expect to beat the Warriors, it’s that simple.

Two reasons it works...1) Curry movement is a huge part of their offense 2) Curry cant make certain passes well

Denver's Nuggets actuate ran a box and 1 on Kobe in the playoffs. Kobe destroyed and made it look like a junk defense.
Alligator69 wrote:I mean if the first ever box and 1 defense gets deployed against Curry that alone shows his impact. He's not going to Kobe his way to 40 points by going 1 on 4.

I'm really surprised he wasn't out there longer. Cousins is bulkier but Gasol is tall enough to make several of shots over him. That's on the coach.

Curry is the best player on the court.

When the opposing team is sending 2 and 3 players at him every single possession, you know damn well who it is.

The Raptors defense are trapping him and even going to a box-and-one to prevent him from dictating the offense. That's how far they're willing to go to stop him. It's insane.

You can't judge Curry just by looking at the boxscore. He had so many hockey assists today, and plays (his screens for example) that simply don't show up on the statsheet.

Never seen a player dominate and attract so much attention since 2000-2002 Shaq. Best player in the league to me.

Yup. Shaq is a good comp for gravity. Its how GS keeps getting solid performances out of the scrubs. Curry + any 4 NBA caliber players = viable offense. Toronto is a great defense so I doubt its good enough without Klay going forward if he's hurt but its really hard to overstate how impactful Curry just existing is to making any team better.

Quinn Cook did fail to take a few shots that he should have taken.

We got f-cking screwed. VanVleet & Powell turned into Splash Brothers 2.0 against us.

Thats cause your defense was ****
Stay salty Bucks fans

Bucks were giving Powell & VanVleet these same open shots all series and they simply wouldn’t miss. Even making contested shots galore.

Now against the Warriors, VanVleet seems to be returning the mean & Powell has suddenly become unplayable. Can’t make this sh-t up.

Raps came back under pressure. Gotta give props to Iggy for hitting the shot.

But in general yes, we stopped giving effort under pressure.

Is Kyle Lowry even a league average point guard anymore? He can't drive by a parking cone at this point.

Agree though ,man Gasol and Raptors not named Kawhi acted like the basketball was a hot potato but their passes we're to get rid of the ball not to make assists

A bit of both. Raps outplayed Warriors 3 of the 4 quarters. Raps' offense just totally collapsed in the 3rd quarter and led to a large deficit.

I thought it was more the Raps offense that was a problem in the 3rd - they went like 5 minutes unable to score a single point!’- although their defense wasn’t great either.

I hope the Raptors get it together for game 3 though and crush them. Swing those overreactions back the other way please cause I hate listening to the media suck up to the Warriors, just so sick of it.

He should have been benched. Mentally he checked out. He turned down shots and ran from open areas
