Things I saw:
Bucks lost the first quarter by 9 and then won every single quarter after that.
The typical huge 3rd quarter Bucks run happened this game - it just didn't happen in the 3rd - they did it in the 4th.
This game was as close as it was because Kyle Lowry went off - the next highest scorer after him in 40 minutes of action was Siakam with 15 (and the other other player in double figures)
Kyle wont do that every game (i know Lopez wont either) but the Raptors don't have anyone consistent outside of Leonard who will always get his.
Meanwhile Bucks had 5 (almost 6) players in double figures and they still shot worse from 3 and hit less 3s.
Bucks hit the offensive glass and I'm more impressed with Lopez's 11 rebounds and a few clutch ones too than his 4 3s.
Brogdon is back and still efficient AF.

That's misleading as hell. The second and third were won by 1 point, which is basically a wash. You guys won the guy in the 4th because literally no one other than Lowry hit one single shot. The Raps went 0-15 other than Lowry.

Loved the defense in general. If Lopez wins the series for the bucks then so be it.

Wouldn't count on that again

Brook shot 4/11 (.364) from 3. He shot .365 on the season. 9 times this year he has made MORE than 4 3s in a game.

Lowry shot 7/9 from 3. He hasn't made 7 3s in a game all season (though Brook did 3x).

And a great many of those points and rebounds were directly due to Gasol (and Ibaka) shading for Giannis so aggressively.

To be fair he was pretty awful against Boston. Probably wasn't a bad notion to leave him to stop Giannis from getting to the hole. But make NO mistake about it, the two are directly linked. And a clear reason why Freak is so difficult to stop.

Giannis had the best DRTG in the NBA and an ORTG that would be the best team ORTG in the history of the game. He creates problems.

Except the 2019 Lopez in Bud's system is completely different from the Brooklyn Lopez (funny how that sounds, btw). Exposing Gasol to Lopez outside of the paint to me is as big of a threat as not being able to stop Giannis.

Gasol even a few years from his DPOY year is still a better post defender than Ibaka, and you need him near the rim as much as possible.

Lopez scored 9 points and 6 points in two games against Gasol this season.

Against Toronto he has some of his worst shooting percentages this season, including some of his worst PPG, APG, RPG, OffRtg, and +/-, in 4 games and 119 minutes total (second most minutes next to games against Cleveland - 121 min).

So it should be interesting to see how the Raptors play Lopez, especially with Gasol in our system using our strategies against Lopez.

I'm not worried about Brook frickin' Lopez at the moment. Maybe that changes in the series, but going in, he doesn't seem like a threat to the Raptors.

Siakam is 19/60 shooting his last 4/5 games, thanks to Siakam the raptors can't even win when Lowry has career games.

Only Lowry was out of his mind...he shot 7-9 from 3pt. The rest of the Raptors shot 8 for 33 from 3pt...that's 24%...let's not say that the team as a whole were shooting lights out, when that clearly wasn't the case...aside from Lowry the 3 point shooting was just as bad as the Bucks.
