THAT is worth more than a massive salary dump, 3 #1 picks and one of the only two centers in the league to avg >20ppg in the last 4 years? No, what they are trading is the equity of his next contract. And Dwight doesn't owe them that.

I'm not sure I understand the purpose of your post.
Regardless if he's healthy or not, demanding a trade or not... he is contractually obligated to finish the last year of his contract. Period.

None of us know yet, but there were reports earlier this month that the Union was considering pursuing legal action on Dwight's behalf. We'll see soon enough. Obviously there must be something substantial we don't know yet if the Union were considering getting involved.

this, don't understand why people don't just do their research

Why don't we do research? have you not been paying attention? The rumor was out that at the same time as the rumor that Dwight thought he had been blackmailed. After the union got involved and investigated it, Howard issued a statement that he had not been blackmailed and that he was sorry about all the drama he created. You tell me what happened, as it sure sounds like the union told him they have no legal case.

lol, I don't know why people keep pretending that this did not happen. They are really just ignoring Howard's own words.

who is pretending it didnt happen? but the Union already listen to Dwight, he back tracked his own statement that was reported by sources and nothing else has come of it.

That is what I am referring to, why are people pretending that the story that I quoted did not happen? THey seem to be ignoring that Howard already said it was no blackmail and this is done.
Woj is the new Bucher. Shams is the new Woj. Espn is the new TMZ. The NBA is the new WWE.

It's not that absurd. Think without an agenda. The guy signed the opt-in so he wouldn't be traded to a crappy team against his will. The condition to stay was that he would be traded after his last playoff run with the Magic, and he said he'd give 100%. Too bad it never happened
.
Now they stall trading him and say they might keep him. He has a point, even though I hate him

So he was so terrified of having to spend three months on a bad team, after which he'd have been free to go to anyone who could afford him, that he signed a contract to play another year for a team he obviously despises? Either Dwight's an idiot, his agent is, or they both are.

I'm not reading all 19 pages, but I hope someone before posted this.

Dwight? Suing the Magic for your own decision?

Players get traded against their will all the time, it's not illegal, it's part of the job. Signing an opt-in does give a player a no-trade clause all of the sudden.
