He can be a very solid starter based on that.

Yeah, but he doesn't have good shooting ability.

He has actually shot pretty well the latter parts of this season.

He may be shooting the ball better, but shooting ability isn't one of his strengths.

At the rim: 61.8%
At the rim halfcourt: 56.6%
Transition at rim: 69.8%

It's mind boggling how the idea that Wiggins can't finish just become popular. In the draft board there were people claiming his % at the rim was 31%! Heck, he's a more efficient finisher at the rim than Parker!

He's far from a polished finisher, but what's the point of the crazily hyperbole? Especially when he's been improving? And like the vast majority of the players, he'll keep improving in the NBA.

Keep posting that faulty Hoop-Math stat though.

Well, if you think Hoop-Math's stat is "faulty", what's exactly the true stat?

You claimed that he was a 31% finisher. When asked for a source, you linked to a blog post that... was using Hoop-Math stat (and obviously didnt' support your claim).

So, unless you're just ranting irrationally, just point us to some other source. Merely claiming "stats are faulty" can't be taken seriously (especially when, if he had a 31% at the rim percentage, and considering his .449 FG% and .350 3PT%, then his 2pt jump-shot % would need to be north of 70% by the simple rule of arithmetics)

He's 19 (I think). He is hardly a finished product. He doesn't have to have an elite stroke in order to be effective in the NBA.

My only concern about the kid is his "fire" he doesn't seem selfish enough yet to be a number 1 scoring option. Mentality can develop over time as well though.

Idc who drafts him, whatever team that does has to make sure he reaches his full potential, so he can walk to the Raptors in a couple years. Haha.

All these years of watching stars bounce, and diss cuz it's Canada, Wiggins knows the feeling.

He will be amazing, but give the dude some time. He might need a few seasons to really blossom
.
Still like Parker more. He can score at will, and doesn't even need to outspeed anybody to do it.

I've never seen a SF play strong like this in a long time, only LBJ does it. He uses all his strength 100% of the time, bangs against everyone in front of him and wants the contact -not in a Harden way, but in a Lebron way, always looking to finish
.
Sometimes he smashes bigger guys to the ground and still gets the and 1. Wiggins is the exact opposite, as he's way quicker, more agile, a better ball handler and slasher - and doesn't want contact

Usually someone with strides like KD speed like CP3 and leaping ability like Lebron can fair pretty well in the NBA.

No.

And Rudy Gay is not very quick. Like at all. Wiggins is crazy quick.

Thank you. Wiggins is thrice as quick and ten times more fluid.

He will be great.

I see Wiggins as a Top 5 NBA player in 3 years.

He looks like a future beast on defense. Not sure if he will be as good as Jimmy Butler but still. :D

He doesn't look like a KD type scorer but he should get his 22 points in his prime.

He is fast and athletic. Should be entertaining to watch him play.

Curious, did you actually watch that game? Cause I did and at least to me it seemed the majority of the time, whenever Mitchell was on parker, he pretty much shut him down. Akil Mitchell probably won't be drafted but he is an NBA caliber athlete. Now, while Parker is absolutely very skilled and has an excellent motor, I still can't help but think he's a bit of a tweener and it will make his life a bit difficult unless he sheds a lot of his baby fat or grows a couple inches and becomes a full time stretch 4.

I do think Parker is more NBA ready because he has a nice skillset, but I wonder I doubt his ceiling is as high as Wiggins.

He'll need more than 22 points per and Jimmy Butler D to be a top 5 player.

Actually he's not.

1) LBJ
2) KD
3) Melo
4 Steph Curry
5) CP3

That just goes to show how weak the talent level is in the NBA right now.

I would say

LBJ
KD
AD

Not sure after that, several players including PG round out the top 10.
