I just don't trust anyone for Boston to score consistently down the stretch. I watched most of their series vs the Sixers and they had a multitude of guys step up, but when it comes down to crunch time and you need a basket to keep up with the best player in the NBA, I just don't see it yet.

Your post depresses me, because the guy who should be getting us a basket in crunch time is in your avatar :(

Round 1 was the time to eliminate the Cavs in the East. They were still trying to find their groove. Now theyre feeling their oats. I am hoping for a competitive series where Boston plays physical defense and hopefully prevents CLE's roleplayers from getting comfortable. Lebron is getting his no matter what.

Voting Celtics in 7. Let's GOOOOOOOOOOOO

LOL, when you add up the current percentages in the poll, it's 52% to 48%, in favor of the Cavs. In the real world, the Cavs have to be 2 to 1 favorites. The Celtics have only a puncher's chance-- and if they do not play better than they did in game 5 against the Sixers-- not even that.

I think he is a solid coach that gets the most from average players, he turned Isaiah into a **** allstar so kudos there but don't think that makes the difference to Lebron and co.

I'm sensitive because I think your take is dumb? You knock him for not getting a vote in the coaches poll. That's beyond stupid. Is Casey a better coach than him because other coaches voted for him? Horrible

If he IS that good of a coach, then you should have no doubts or concerns whatsoever despite him not winning anything. I am more inclined to think he is one of the best scheme planners in the game, but not as much of a great in game coach. Over time I may be proven wrong on this but until he proves capable of carrying an injury laden roster past veteran loaded powerhouses like Lebron and company we will have to wait until next year to see how much having Kyrie and Hayward in the fold covers his deficiencies.

Cavs in 5. I think it would be Cavs in 4 if Kyrie were playing but with their team ball they should pull one out in Boston.

Dude. The Cavs have no talent. LeBron, Love and a bunch of spare parts. Yes, LeBron is god. But, the Celtics aren't shrinking violets like Toronto either.

Let's rank players.

1. LeBron
2. Love (kind giving Cavs this one for arguments sake)
3. Horford
4. Brown
5. Tatum
6. Rozier
7. Morris
8. George Hill
9. Smart
10. JR Smith
11. Korver
12. Baynes
Does it matter?

Clarkson, Nance, Thompson are unreliable. Sorry folks. Semi, Monroe unreliable and Yabusele and Nader are too. Sorry. Cavs have little talent and they are old. They got a lot of firepower, but need 40, 15 games from LeBron to pull this out.

I think Celtics win game 1 and game 2. That puts cavs in a big hole.

The cavs will have trouble adjusting to the « every one switch on defense », Tatum, Morris, horford, brown, smart, semi, baynes is tough to deal with.
Lebron Will get his but it will be a lot harder for every one else.

While I don’t see this injured celtics team beating lebron James in a seven game series, they play with so much poise, toughness and determination that they’ll give themselves a chance.
Rebounding and rim protection will be a key for the Celtics.

As a pacers fan, I see them as a more dangerous opponent for lebron than we were.

They're not. Pacers were an awful match up for us. (Although I'm not sure that series goes 7 if George Hill is healthy).

We'll see what Lue does but I'd start TT in this series. He gives Horford fits. Korver can come off the bench. The only reason I'm nervous is because of Lue tbh.

Brown is not better than Smith, Rozier is not better than Hill, Morris is not better than Green or Nance.
I also think Tatum is over rated in this series.
Korver is a better shooter than anyone on their roster etc.
Baynes is not better than Thompson defensively.
Regardless of how you see it, the reality is the Cavs are much better than you are giving them credit and they have Lebron
which you don't have anyone close too.

George Hill should be at No. 7 and maybe even No. 6 on that list. We'll see how he and Rozier match up head to head. McConnell is the best defender Rozier has faced this post season.

Is it against forum rules for a raptors fan to cheer for the Celtics??

If so hand me a warning now.

One thing no one seems to be talking about:

Who will flop more in this series? Marcus Smart or Lebron James?
