The Pels got a very good deal for a potential rental. If AD walks for some reason next summer, then the Lakers will have given away the next five years of their future for a one year rental. Hopefully at least they make the playoffs.

The Lakers desperately need to fill out their roster to avoid Le/Davis from injuring themselves carrying the load.

People let their Laker-hate blind them from the reality that AD was going to walk away from the Pels no matter what, so they at least we're given the opportunity to get something for him, and yet people acted like they were in the driver seat when they weren't. No team that is losing their best player is never in the advantage

People overrate 1sts. Because they got 3 this is a monster package? The 2021 one is guarentee to be trash. The 2023 one could be good but worth to pay.

This sucks for pelicans. Worse offer than last year, knew they would lose leverage when Danny backed out and was all talk.

Because it’s another young scoring option with potential on the cheap at the very least for one, a decent trade chip for two, and finally, despite not having the #4 in the trade offer in February, they had also included Kuzma and Zubac.

The 4th pick might be a better asset than anything that was offered back in Feb? Kuzma is the only asset they didn't get from the Lakers.

Didn't get kuzma or zubac.

Zubac makes no sense with a team that has Zion. So I doubt they would've resigned him anyways. The added value in that pick is more than Kuzma's value.

They were already offering the pick in February...plus kuz and zubac ...they got less now.

They were ready getting the pick in Feb plus kuzma...now no kuzma...pels acted unprofessionally in February and they ended up getting less.

You can’t sign an extension. The best they could do is ask his agent if he was okay still being mediocre for the next 4 seasons, LeBron answered yes in Rich Paul’s ear piece so Danny passed.

Not everybody wants to win, that’s why LA exists.
