Second thing. His 2k rating is obviously the most important.

In fairness though him scoring 20ppg this season is probably the most likely of the 4 things to happen.

I mean its fun to clown the guy and all, but if I was in a video game I'd be lying if I claimed I wasn't interested in my rating. Other than that a scorer wants to score, he wants to be recognized as good, and he wants his team to win?

I'm really failing to see the problem here. LOL at people telling him to be humble. I mean I appreciate the Duncan's and Stockton's as much as anyone, but nothing wrong with a little talk if you can back it up.

And yes of course the Celtics won't win the title this season, nobody with a brain would expect that. But a player has to say he wants to win it all otherwise people question his motor.

I can't see him having a blow out year like a young Kobe or TMac, You can already see right now he ain't bout that Superstar life, He has below average dribbling skills, Below average athleticism, Below average footwork and most importantly he looks scared attacking the basket.

Without that element - which would have been an actual revelation - it's just a standard nothing to get riled up about statement from a typical young player, etc.

He's already a plus defender lol. Of course he can improve on that side of the ball, but him improving his already good defense wouldn't exactly be a revelation.

It's the mindset more than the results that are more relevant for what I said. Even if he was the best defender in the entire NBA, a very revealing statement would have had him starting with defense before anything else.

the timing is bad too... when you have a bunch of players with reputations for having inflated egos in a toxic enviornment you really nee to avoid this stuff and go with a patriots like awnser of "its all about the team, not personal goals"
