Lol this person clearly has not watched Precious play consistently. By next season the trade is going to look like a steal.

He is a good GM. He is only overrated by people who act like he is the best GM.

Good GM is an understatement. He's definitely one of the best in the league without a doubt.

Suggs looking super low efficiency typical guard. Meh

Yep, every ROY candidate has been decided 5 games in. Never have we had a case where one player looks vastly better early on and another improves and looks great the last 2/3rds or something.

Might as well just give Barnes the trophy now it's over.

Best is subjective, I don’t think there’s a clear best, but name me 3 better GMs

Really weird flex about Precious and the "Bulieber" comment but okay dude. You do you.

In a development season the Raptors were a couple of wins away from a top 3 seed in the East. The only jury that's out on Ujiri is that he's arguably the best executive in the association.

Who is next? Siakam?

They have a good scouting team so I give them the benefit of the doubt for now but if Suggs goes on blow up in Orlando, and Barnes becomes just another role player or he busts, its going to haunt this team for years.

A lot of Raptor fans are going to come in and defend the hell out of him and I completely understand. I'm just stating that from the outside looking in, it doesn't look good. And on a side note - I like Barnes. I also like Kuminga, Sengun and Moody too. But not over Suggs. That selection shouldn't have been complicated to make.

Nah, they are going to wait until the end of the season to tell you how dumb these takes were. Well, the end of the season for some.

But did he smuggle Giannis's family out of Nigeria on his speedboat?

OP should stick to the only thing he knows well and that’s gassing up the Lakers. Let the more knowledgeable and less casual posters do the critiquing.

So should be a good test of your proposition. Personally I don't really care about the roster moves, I'll just him on wins. And we'll see how that all goes.

The full Ujiri roster?

The irony is that a Laker fan made this thread - after their GM made an atrocious Westbrook trade, missing the playoffs and not even keeping their draft pick

Masai's only blunders in Toronto were drafting Malachi Flynn over Desmond Bane and drafting Bruno. Otherwise, he's been fantastic. The roster the Raptors currently have was mainly assembled through the draft, with the exception of trading for Gary Trent.

Not only that, he designed the entire Toronto skyline. The man is immortal. He is the spirit people are enlightened by during an ayahuasca trip.

Jon Horse is a father figure.

He knows how to identify undervalued talent and has the right developmental staff. He's the perfect GM for NBA markets that free agents avoid.
