If you watched the game he clearly didn't. Had a stretch where he missed 4 easy shots in a row/took tough shots but played good defense, showed extreme range on the three, hustled, made good passes. Rookie mistakes will definitely happen and going against Marcus Smart/Robert Williams is a good first welcoming.

didnt watch but the moment masai took barnes over suggs something was up. i mean suggs would have to be roy to out play draft position. and he has less margin of error to make mistakes bc hes a higher floor type. barnes should be the one struggling.
this is not just suggs. kuminga too sort of red flag when okc didnt blink an eye not that i think giddey is any good.

Suggs defensively is going to be a problem. 2 blocks from your PG, one of those blocks being on Tatum who is 4-5 inches taller. I am not worried about Suggs at all. I truly dont think he is a PG though which is what he played tonight. I think getting Fultz back will let him focus on scoring the ball more than facilitating. Hes going to have bad shooting nights thats what happens, but I also do expect some nights where he lights it up. Remember its only been one preseason game lol

I feel like Suggs and Barnes will be like the Luka and Trae Young of this batch. People will always compare them and mention how Barnes got drafted ahead of Suggs etc.

I haven't seen Barnes play yet but I'm impressed with Suggs defense so far. When he was drafted I thought he was more of an offense type of player, didn't know he's pretty solid on defense too. I've only seen SL and yesterday's game but I like what I saw.

no its not lol. their coach was dumb experimenting stupid stuff like benching lauri and he outplayed both vuc and DD who are like 5 times costly. their fit does suck but a competent coach would easily make playins. this is not just me hating one team there was a poll for worst team and cavs had the least voted.

mobley was shocking good thought he was a bust but including him theres like 5 starter quality under 25. makes allen expendable as well as sexton a ben trade would allow leap to playoffs.

Nothing about yesterdays game left me thinking "Damn Cleveland has a bright future". If anything I was left pleasantly surprised by Chicago, Lonzo is going to be huge for them. But it was against Cleveland so i'm not gonna get too excited.

A lot of the damage was done against Cleveland's starters too. Alarming, but it's only the first preseason game, on the road, against a team that's kind of in the honeymoon phase.

Terance Mann showing those Iggy flashes I expected. Shot mediocre but 14/8/5. He’s so damn good crashing the glass for a 6’5 player. Looks like he could be used as more of a playmaker this year. My big takeaway from this game was his PG inspired in-out dribble step back, then the Dirk 1 legged fade swish from mid.

Can tell this kid is working his ass off to add to the Arsenal. I’d like to see his season averages be around 13/7/3 at least in that Iggy Warriors role. Hope he can compete for MIP in year 3 this season and he may be the Clippers X-Factor

Cavs only played a 9 man rotation for the first 3 quarters, oof that team is bad.

Outside of Love and Rubio off the bench they're super young too.
