Honest question - is there a team in The NBA that would even want to trade for him? He's not exactly aging well, has a monster contract for his diminishing production, and is a complete loose canon of unpredictability.

Excuse for salary dump then. The team receiving him can trade for and waive him. LOL

just heard kerr's presser about dray.

dray is who he is and no amount of "time off for help" will change that. you have to FORCE him to change, ie 25>30 game suspension AS A START

another reason he wont change is he has too much money to try.

money allows you to not give a sh****

I actually like the comments guys like KD, Nurk, and Gobert are making. Bet this is pissing him off even more.

I don't think this one got enough attention, guy got away with so much and his ego got bigger. If Bridges and Ja can get suspended for long periods of time, he should've at least go 10 games for this.

https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/17050354/michigan-state-spartans-cb-jermaine-edmondson-alleges-was-punched-draymond-green-golden-state-warriors

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green was arrested early Sunday for allegedly punching Michigan State football player Jermaine Edmondson in the face during a confrontation at an East Lansing, Michigan, restaurant, according to the police report obtained by ESPN.

Green was arrested on charges of "simple assault" for the incident, which happened at Conrad's Grill in East Lansing. He was released on $200 bond.

According to the Lansing State Journal, Green waived arraignment and has requested that a pre-trial conference be rescheduled from Aug. 4 to July 21.

Green's lawyers want the change because their client will be at the Olympics in Brazil. If convicted, Green would face a maximum of 93 days in jail and a $500 fine.

Could have just said it was X number of games + completion which may or may not take those games. But it gives some idea of a min here. Lets be real, he'll have to do some charity work and talk to someone about his anger issues? Odds are they know exactly how long that should take.

This way Silver can play it by ear. If Draymond does some anger management and says, “I’m not going to change who I am,” and doesn’t seem remorseful, Silver can say that he’s not ready to come back.

Draymond Green has to complete anger management and then meet with Silver and convince him that he’s changed. It’s like someone in jail who is up for parole who has to convince the judge that they’ve changed and can be a productive member of society.

So basically Silver is going with the worst possible system created in human history?

Draymond should start his new career in MMA. He is in the wrong profession.

Excuse for salary dump then. The team receiving him can trade for and waive him. LOL

You're going to give a guy 100 million dollars to waive him?

Just to be clear....You advocate waiting until a player's value is at its lowest before trading them?
Tom Gores' Securus faced a class action lawsuit in 2024. The company engaged in a "quid pro quo kickback scheme" with county jails in Michigan which banned in-person visits in order to maximize revenue from voice and video calls.

Green would need a ref of the highest order to work that 'fight' - otherwise he might not make it out of the ring alive. He would be lucky to last a round against a professional MMA Heavyweight.
This is hardly even fair, the rest of the league is playing checkers and Danny Ainge is playing 12-dimensional chess.

100% this. Draymond loves being a badass loose cannon that people fear/hate but reluctantly respect. You know being pitied is driving him **** nuts. Everyone saying “wow, I really hope that poor miserable **** can fix himself so he’s not such a broken human being any more” has to have him punching holes in the wall.
