At least it wasn’t us this early
Yeah, this would be a bit like Baylor losing for us..
Texas Tech or NC St will make the sweet 16...or Oakland I guess.
I almost picked Texas Tech to beat Kentucky.

Dillingham is a chucking micro guard. It’s almost crazy that people are so clueless thinking he’s going to be an impact player.
Not sure he will be, but even good versions of that player will have bad games like this.
Sheppard was the more worrisome one to me, just no force to his offensive game.
I bought a boat.

Who do you want as your next HC?
Backup the truck to get Jay Wright back on the sidelines.
Or Nate Oats. Maybe Mark Few is ready for something new.

You know I've been thinking, this off-season coaching carousel is going to be one of the all-time ones. Because you got a couple of BIG programs with vacancies. Michigan, Ohio State, Louisville amongst others. Who's going to go where?

Jay Wright seems the most realistic. Pay him $12m a year and call it a day. Few - no shot. That ship has long sailed. Y’all can do way better than Oates

Brink truck it'll be. Yeah Wright might be interesting, and no buy-outs. Oats just signed a new contract, with $10m buy out and $5m per year. Kentucky would probably spend that money though wouldn't they.

I think Ohio st promoted their interim.
Louisville should hire Pitino lol. Michigan I have no clue…

Yup, every draft site I've seen has both of these guys in the top 5. The other American I've seen mocked in the top 5 is Cody Williams, and he put up zeroes across the board for Colorado yesterday.

This draft class sucks...Guys will probably turn into stars, but it's gonna be a crapshoot like it was in 2011. I don't envy the team who wins the lottery.

Re: March Madness Discussion and prospect watch
Never trust Kentucky in the NCAA Tournament, All that talent, nothing to show for. One and done program. Under Coach Cal. Grab a bunch of blue chip prospects and off to the pros after 1 or 2 seasons. Rarely any seniors or juniors on the team. They stay a very young team with not much team chemistry.
What happens?
They get matchup up against good smaller schools that are senior/junior laden with tons of team chemistry. In these tournaments. Just like tonite (Oakland), 15 seed St Peters 2022, 6 seed (NIT) Robert Morris years back, etc
Simple as that.
Congrats to the Oakland (Detroit, Michigan area school) Grizzlies!

Same here.
Samford plays quick and KU is injured.

I haven't seen a consensus yet but the other Frenchman, Risacher is generally 1/2 with Sarr. Topic's the other guy who has a shot at 1 but he's been injured for a long time.
This is one of those drafts where the best guys might come from outside the top 10.

I dunno. Bruce Pearl's offense is kinda ugly. Kentucky wants a coach who'll play something pretty ball as well as winning ball I think? The question is what direction they're going to go - a proven name or a rising up and comer. I like what Iowa State's coach has done over there. If he goes far in the tournament I'm thinking he gets poached to a big name program.

If the #15 loss 2 seasons ago didn't happen, I could understand. After that and the poor showing in this season's conference tournament, no one should be super shocked.azcatz11 wrote:JujitsuFlip wrote:Ace Ventura went off against UK!

To be fair, I didn't have UK losing in the 1st round but I didn't trust them to even come outta their region.
