I honestly don't ever care about him being a diva at every stop since it was never on my team but it's played out. It's also unwarranted because he's never raised the Larry O'Brien and seems he never will.

If he wasn't good at the game he would have got the boot out of the league a long time ago, it's a known fact that they give you more leeway in the NBA the better you are with antics and off-court problems.

Any guy that is basically a mediocre NBA player better not pull this **** or they find themselves out of the league extremely fast.

Just sucks it'll overshadow what he did on the court.

2017: 8 seed Bulls being up 2-0 in the 1st round, though mostly contributed to Rondo.

2018: bringing the Wolves to the playoffs for the first time in 14 years.

2019: 76ers being a couple bounces away from winning the NBA title in the 2nd round (according to some fans).

2020: taking the 5 seed Heat to the Finals.

2023: taking the 8 seed Heat to the Finals.

Like if it wasn't for all the off court stuff his legacy would be he was great at carrying teams. Instead him being a diva is what will stick out.

I was thinking about it, Iggy refused to play for the Grizzlies before going to the Finals with Jimmy and the Heat, i bet that plays a part in him saying not to trade him there.

He notoriously picked the Heat bc his former Bulls teammate Wade told him how great it was.

you actually think JB would accept a buy out? he won't give up his PO. this is the a worse, emo version of the PJ situation last year. guys love the guaranteed money, but then cry that they just immediately on play somewhere else mainly due to their contract.

Why do people act like 2 finals appearances is not a great achievement? Plenty of franchises would beg for something like that. Some even just for one appearance. NBA basketball isn’t an all-or-nothing championship or bust type of thing.

Miami still got 2 championship runs out of Jimmy as their #1/2. Thats 2 more than any other team he was previously in has done.

Jimmy is Rajon Rondo but without the clout of being a legit winner. Crazy how much respect he gets from a lot of you guys. His playoff stats are great, but he's only had success in MIA.

The two finals mean nothing, one was during covid :lol:

In an empty arena, with half the players not even caring, and the games were played in FLA :lol:

Anyone ever wonder why the team that hosts the Olympics usually does better than usual? Home cooking, and they don't have to deal with the added stress of being away from their actual life. The 2nd title run was nice, they caught the Celtics slipping and Tatum rolled his ankle in game 7. They then proceeded to be one of the worst challengers in morn NBA history to a team that literally has one AS on it :lol:

It's also worth mentioning that up until two weeks ago, MIA success was mainly predicated on SPO being the best coach in the league, and the Role Players who play lights out and know their role. You know, the thing that created Heat Culture. I feel bad for MIA fans having to read so many posts with these Butler fans thinking this dude was Heat Culture :lol:

Max Struss and Gabe Vincent are more Heat Culture than Jimmy

If the NBA had a real commissioner he/she would put an end to NBA players saying they want to be traded but just to one team. Butler - Phoenix, Fox - San Antonio. Instead Adam Silver is too busy trying to turn the NBA into a carnival.

Miami is better off not trading him at all and let his contract expire in the offseason to give Miami over $40 mil in cap space to work with for a replacement.
