I am low on Beal but largely for a 50m/yr player. As a 6th man he is a super luxury.

Beal would be 100% starting over Braun

Beal has a true isolation and mid range game that Jokic can 100% develop a chemistry with

He spent years playing off the ball next to guys like Westbrook and John Wall

him and Jokic should have great chemistry on offense that will make him start, and Braun will be more valuable off the bench with his improvements taking on secondary guys

too much sacrifise on defense and seze. plus beal would be great coming of the bench as a scorer. i believe beal would strart only when murray misses. the only possible reason i can see beal starting instead of braun is if nuggets want to keep braun's extension cheaper, but it's a tricky business

Lol, Beal should not even be starting over Grayson Allen.

Beal is better than Braun but he would need to play every non Jokic minute as Murray has historically been horrific in this scenario. Beal can at least create his own offense, while Murray relies on picks, cuts and Jokic getting double teamed without the ball.

So he probably shouldn't start, so it's more convenient to get him playing all the non Jokic minutes.

Sadly, you might be right. But that would be a terrible decision. You don't want Murray and Beal playing together. They overlap in strengths and both play bad defense. Braun is a much better complement to either.

If Malone was still there this might be truth, but not with Adelman.
