Well one reason can just be what makes the most sense. Is Curry going to shut down the opposing PG? If not, should you use his energy by having him guard them if you don’t have to? Warriors are a fortunate team to have a SG that is arguably even better guarding PG’s than SG’s and generally have had multiple versatile defenders so that even if Curry is a good man defender, you can still choose to place him on a weaker offensive player to preserve his energy and get better defensive matchups for your team.

2015 all over again. Only so much any 1 player in the modern NBA can do against a well coached/well constructed/deep roster. LeBron in 2015 and 2007, Curry this game at least. Klay and/or KD will need to comeback relatively healthy for them to pull this off. Good game from the Raps who didn't let down all game (and credit to GS/Curry for hanging in there).

Warriors only chance to win this series is by making threes and Klay Thompson hobbled and Durant sidelined Curry has to carry that load and he will be dead tired as the series roll along.

Curry must know how LBJ felt last year with no help this game. GS is playing well but just don't have enough offense to keep up.

That's it for this game. Good job on the Raptors pressing on the gas all game long. They remained aggressive especially when the Warriors were trying to make the run down to 7 or 6 points.

Warriors still favored in the series though but the Raptors got what they wanted today-- get back that homecourt advantage.
