He's a great 2nd option, that is his best role. A PG who can't operate an offense, play defense and isn't willing to play off ball isn't winning much.

It'd be awkward to trade him to Miami, which opens the door for a Melo trade I guess.

He's basically screwed the team. PG & Butler were actually available. I don't see those teams turning down Kyrie.

I can dream. I'd love Kyrie on this team and I think Leonard being here doesn't undercut his desire to be "the man" at all. I could see it working out a bit like the 2013 team; Tony had a career year and was the offensive catalyst but Tim was still the best player on the team. And I think Kyrie's game would thrive under Pop as well.

The first 3 make sense. I know Kyrie has tremendous respect for Riley, plus he probably would love living in Miami. New York makes sense because he loves playing on the big stage and him and KP would be a pretty fun young duo to watch. I also think he would fit great with SA. Kawhi isnt really a ball dominant player and I think Kyrie would definitely buy into whatever Pop asks. Minny not so much because they already have Teague.

Kyrie and Butler are best friends and butler is on record saying he wants to play with Kyrie.

You could do Wiggins Cole and Bjelica for Kyrie. Minn could add okc 2018 and their own if needed.

You can either play kyrie as SG next to teague, or if the cavs waited until teague is trade eligible. Teague and wiggins for kyrie and shump.

If I'm the Jazz, I'm picking up the phone with Favors, Hood, Rubio and as many picks as Cavs want. It may well not get the deal done but it's worth a shot.

Utah would be an ideal place for him. A great coach, tremendous defense all around him so his defensive flaws basically get erased. I like a young core of Gobert/Kyrie/Mitchell. Id try to keep Hood because he can play the 2 or 3 and brings some shooting (inconsistently I know).

Kyrie doesnt, more or less, want to be the man exactly. He pretty much already was. His role cant get much bigger. It is more he just isnt a fan of lebron, and never was. He never wanted lebron back in cleveland anyways. It was his team and they were building around him. Then lebron came and took that away. Then kyrie always got blamed for stuff but not lebron. I guarantee Kyrie would accept the EXACT same role on any other team that lebron isnt on.

Pop got 200% out of Tony Parker's talent and very much gave him the keys of the offense. So of course he'd do it for Kyrie. Would just put him in PnR with Kawhi and ask him to kick him to the corners a bit more often.

A package from Pheonix would work best for the Cavs, in terms of appeasing LeBron somewhat (with Bledsoe) and at the same time, preparing for what seems like his inevitable departure (with other assets coming with Bledsoe).

Kyrie for Bledsoe and Josh Jackson makes sense. Cavs could flip Jackson or just keep him to start a re-build once LeBron leaves.

Bledsoe and smaller parts would never work for Cleveland.
