LOL at making the NBA Finals with a game 7 being "arbitrary."

Maybe arbitrary to you. Its not arbitrary to how people around the league will judge him.

People around the league? Or you? You admitted yourself that you aren't actually judging him on performance, just on outcome, so even if he sucks tonight and the Rockets somehow squeeze out a win, based on your logic, you will be crediting him, but if he plays great but the Warriors, who are the better team play better than his team, you are concluding that if will show him to not be an MVP. It's stupid logic and should be called out as such and others who use that logic should also be called out as using stupid logic, whether or not there are many people doing it. The majority doing something doesn't make it correct.

I'm judging him by finding a way to win.

No its not just me who will judge him.

The media and people in the NBA will blame him for not getting it done.

Like I said, 10 years from now nobody will remember the circumstances of how he got to the Finals. People will only remember that he got to the NBA Finals over a dynasty and likely won his first Championship.

Winners find a way to win.

MJ is the GOAT because he won 6 Championships. Nobody cares that Wilt put up better stats.

You can call it "stupid" all you want but the only one being stupid is you. We are judged by our circumstances as much as our abilities. Those who want to be great find a way to make the most of them.
If he plays poorly, yes, if not, no, they won't, and those that do are dumb. All you're basically trying to argue now is that some people foolishly neglect context when judging players, so we all should too, that's dumb. Also MJ found a way to win when his teams were better than his opponents, when they weren't, he didn't, that's why the 87-88 MVP lost in 5 in the second round, including losing two games at home, hmm, interesting...

On to next season

Warriors seem to get a lot of injury breaks. Lucky full Cs squad isn’t waiting for them.

They'll be there waiting for them next year, the Celtics future looks AMAZING, they are winning at the very least one championship in the next five years.

Really sucks between paul being out and Scott foster reffing. No one likes him! Can only hope for the best tonight. Warriors finally had a legitimate opponent...... At least Houston gained people's respect along the way hopefully.

If not this season then hopefully next season we can finally get a different finals matchup... good luck W's and go Rockets!

The turnover margin for both teams is going to be interesting.

Are the refs gonna let the warriors hack harden every time he puts the ball on the floor like game 6 or will it be called fairly tonight?

When they are leading comfortably, they will be back to 120% like in game 6. It's only in close games down the stretch when the normal breathing patterns are obstructed and near suffocation occurs, due to chronic muscle issues in the throat
So many people who attain the heights of power in this culture—celebrities, for instance—have to make a show of false humility and modesty, as if they got as far as they did by accident and not by ego or ambition.

Barkley is right, but I don't see how Golden State allows Houston to get another 17-point lead

HOU is finished IMO. Harden can't be trusted to control the game like Lebron and Gordon will not have any more magic in the tank. GS is so lucky

I imagine the Rockets are definitely a lot more anxious than the Warriors.

Especially Eric Gordon after what I saw in game 6. That man was shook

People are saying GSW is lucky, but a former finals MVP on THEIR roster missed 4 games this series. Give me both teams fully healthy and they Warriors would have been in the finals since last week.

Maybe they're resting Iggy for Lebron in the finals.

If the Rockets win tonight, it'd be the biggest upset in NBA history.

The Warriors even with Iggy out, should not lose this.
