IT'S LIKELY: Bronny James is 18 and short (about 6'1/2" barefoot) so his size+skills won't make him a real nba player

The people here who thought the same thing about LaMelo (trash, overhyped because of family, playing weak competition, weak, not an elite athlete, etc.) are the same people doubting Bronny's potential to be an nba player (not saying star...not saying 6man) but an nba player no less.

You guys also hated on austin rivers and thought seth curry would be out of the league in a couple years before he found his place. Noone had an opinion on GP2 but if there was a thread about it - you would all be spewing the same nonsense.

Oh my bad man. Definitely wasn't responding to your post. I've fixed it now.

But can you imagine LeBron is 37 and there are people still waiting for him to fall off a cliff so they can go "see I told you father time is undefeated"?

Thanks man. I appreciate it .

Lebron at 41 avg 18ppg not because of injury.: "Told you he was a bum and father time would get him." Lol. Idiots

Lebron said he wants to play with his son. That in itself is enough to get Bronny a two way deal just from a marketing perspective IMO

If the optics are he got in the league because of daddy Bronny will be wishing the fans treated him like Westbrook got treated this year. Every road game will be a torture chamber.

That is why I put 2 way contract. Bronny would never need to play on the road 1st 2 yrs, get professional coaching but would create publicity

Who is hyping him up like the Ball brothers? Or Andrew Wiggins? Etc.. who is hyping him up to be this star player all star future hall of Famer? If anything most people say the odds stacked against him and the microscope he's under is one that no one can conquer. He's in the shadow of his popsbwho happens to be one of the most elite players to ever play the game. I've not seen a person in their right mind say he's a top 3 pick like you are claiming.

Well every NBA player that realgm likes grows 3 inches over the summer after their rookie season, so he’ll be pushing up on 6’7 by the time he’s 20, and he’ll have added at least 25 pounds of pure muscle too.

cause everyone got their opinion of LaMelo from his dads trolling on ESPN and somehow missed the actual games where he at 15 outscored 17 year old top prospect in the world Zion Williamson 31-28 in their big time AAU matchup. Bronny meanwhile scores 9 and got torched by DJ Wagner in their game. a guy with Bronny's results that wasnt named LeBron James Jr would be a a fringe D1 prospect, but who knows how high that name can carry him. The Wade name seems to have carried Zaire all the way to the G-League where its actually impressive how terrible he is

bron + bronny in gleague

The Cavs will gladly bring him home with a late second round pick anyone wants to sell Gilbert. At worst, he’s a Cleveland Charge, at best, he brings people a few more blocks to the Q. But. It’s a fair use of a two-way contract for the Cavs.

Lebron doesn’t need to be part of the equation. Getting ready to draft Isaiah Mobley to let Evan Mobley play with his brother.

DWade got his son drafted to Utah's G League team, there wasn't much of an uproar about it.

Coming off the bench in the g league isn't quite the same as being drafted to the nba.

Men don't stop growing until 24 refers to overall growth, not height. Obviously, there will be exceptions. Overall, the average male growth past 17 is 3/4 of an inch. Also, there's no such thing as a growth spurt. Most of the times, growth is linear. He has been this height for the past 2 years or so

I grew three inches from 17 to 19 (5'9 1/2 to 6'1). With the knowledge in your post, I will be contacting science to study me.

He already looks NBA ready to me. And the dude can fly so I don't think his height will matter that much.

Lamelo has the similar playmaking/vision of Lonzo but more natural scoring ability. Honestly lamelo wasn't a serious nba prospect either until he had a huge growth spurt from 6'1 to 6'7 and benefitted off the buzz/hype from Lonzo coming into the league.

I watched Bronny pretty much his whole high school career. The height is only a problem because of his level of skill and his type of athleticism. He's 6'2" barefoot but is essentially a wing who is unable to handle the ball. He's got no flexibility in his moves, his first step/overall agility with the ball is pretty much nonexistent so he was never able to be a consistently dominant player. Even after his great run in Peach Jam, he followed it up with a few pedestrian games in vegas, got dominated by another AAU team. He lost the ball and had people rip him so much over his career it was crazy, I think it has something to do with his posture or his build. The ball is too high when he dribbles. If you can't consistently beat guys off the dribble at 6'2,"" it's very hard to be great, but he was still a very good player. If he had the handle and mobility of even a mid major guard, he'd be infinitely better than he is now and easily make the NBA. He does all the little things, but his actual talent with the ball, when he's not passing, is kind of limited.

He's a solid shooter, but very streaky. He needs to spend every minute working on agility and handle and jumper because he's undersized. But lebron will get him a shot in the league.
