LeBron missed at least three layups tonight that we'd never see him miss before and it wasn't like he was getting bodied by great defenders. I was really surprised to see that - I don't know if he's hurt, if he was tired, frustrated or it's just age catching up with him. But seeing three point blank layups rim off was pretty surprising.

I see it, he still went for 30/7/7. But the plan all along was for AD to step up when LBJ started to fade, which was inevitable, and AD just isn't.

I don't think Lakers can afford to just give up on the season like this. Need to make a big move tomorrow. Maybe swing Westbrook and that '27 first to Houston for Wall and Gordon.

Why make this comment without acknowledging that LeBron has missed 17 games...and AD has missed 21 games.

"with Lebron and AD" makes it sound like the Lakers have actually had them...

The only thing in sports I like more than seeing the Lakers lose is watching Liverpool lose.

This is is a beautiful morning

So figure that in to your hot takes about AD and LeBron tonight... They looked terrible... But it's a kind of terrible lakers fans haven't seen this season...
Actually AD had started looking more dominant on both ends of the floor until he left it all on the court trying to keep Giannis from going for 60

Rob failed Lebron and ad . I don’t wanna hear how they wanted Westbrook badly . He put vet min guys around them that can’t play defense. He botched this off season badly

He's having another great year, All-star caliber, dare I say ALL-NBA. Yet, you have these absolute buffoons on ESPN. There's this guy called "Jacoby" on Jalen and Jacoby's show, I don't even know his first name, he's been screaming all day that the NBA needs to investigate the Kings for making the deal because according to him it was so egregious.

The reality is that the best player in that deal was Sabonis... Haliburton hasn't shown that level yet.

Exactly. I said the same in the trade thread that I thought it was pretty fair both sides.

The media gets a narrative and runs with it.

Sabonis is an upgrade for right now and the near future. Haliburton is nice piece to lead a rebuild for Indy.

Body language of Lebron is unacceptable though. AD has been great since his return.

Team just isn't very good.

This is Lebron not giving a ****. It's happened plenty this season. He had at least 5 unforced turnovers.

Westbrook and LeBron were both expected to be out with the knee issue today. LeBron felt good enough to play but he's a bit hobbled and wasn't exactly moving a lot.

If not for the pandemic, LeBron wouldnt have any championship with the Lakers.

Lakers just winning a championship at the bubble with LeBron is kind of disappointing

Thats the thing with LeBron teams. You can never really count him out until hes eliminated. His mere presence on a team inspires delusional level hope that a championship may still be possible no matter what.

What are on about? We were dominant the season we won the chip pre pandemic. Team won a chip nothing disappointing about it.

Thats 1 more than most teams will ever have if they ever even get one.

I thought for sure we'd win it last year but injures derailed it. This season i knew we'd be toast as soon as the trades were made.

Im Nostradamus what can i say. Should have bet on them because i was pretty sure we'd lose this one.

I see they sat Westbrook though, so help may be on the way.

unless by some miracle we make trades that make us better and i dont see how that will happen.

Yes. They will IF they win a championship and yes Embiid will be crying.
