-Get Ben Simmons who hasn't played in a season since shrinking in the playoffs.

With the Nets not having their own first round pick for the next 5 years or so once again, if KD and Kyrie leave, they will be the laughingstock of the sport.

Normally I would feel bad for them, but some were so arrogant last year after the Harden trade that it's impossible to feel bad for them.

Legit only have themselves to blame. Where do they get off playing hardball with Kyrie now? With Kyrie/KD/Simmons, you have a chance at a title. Ya, things gotta break your way, you gotta be healthy and you need an adult that can manage the ego's and craziness, but you got a decent shot, imo. Without Kyrie, the entire house falls. This was a package deal to begin with. Your future is garbage regardless...you have no more picks. Understand that Kyrie has got you by the balls and pay him. It's better than the alternative by far

Whats a CBA gonna do? Short of non-guaranteed contracts (which owners dont want, cause even if the players give in, it wouldnt be 1-way), how do you frame language to stop KD from wanting out? Philly fined Simmons and didnt pay him last year. Thats the CBA doing it's job. What more can you do there? If a player is gonna risk his salary to not play for you, youre kinda SOL.
