I’m very confused by the logic used here. At the time he was a Heat member and he was dominating the East. During what time span did LeBron not dominate the East in that time frame?

Ahhh. I'll try to help you.

Kawhi and the geriatric Spurs beat Lebron and the Heat by (at that time) a record margin in NBA Finals history. It was BRUTAL.

He left to team up with younger players and Allstars. By 2018, the Warriors beat the stuffing out of the Cavs by what now is the record margin in NBA Finals history.

Then he left again. Used Klutch Sports (which he owns) to collude one last time.

He may have one more superteam up his sleeve.
