Pop in 2.5 blocks per game for Embiid.

Right now the MVP list looks like:

Luka
Embiid
Tatum
Record will 100% come into play.

Jokic is out of it at this point.

How is Jokic out of it at this point? Lol. Record? Let’s talk about record what teams did the Nuggets faced compared to the rest of players in your list? I guess strength of schedule doesn’t matter.

Jokic has been fairly unimpressive this season. When you consider that Luka, Embiid and Tatum are scoring far more, averaging similar or more assists, in Embiid's case better block numbers, and it paints that picture. Jokic will probably come into play soon, because he always done that. No need to get defensive lol. I love the fact that this board anoints Jokic the MVP before the season even starts, and the most obvious MVP right now (Luka), isn't even close to Jokic on the poll. Just lol. Ya'll don't even given anyone else a chance. Automatic, it's Jokic's to lose.

So is

26.2 PTS 11.8 REB 7.4 AST shooting 60.4 % from the field unimpressive? Maybe for Jokic’s standards maybe you are right. But to say Jokic out of the MVP right now is laughable.

So you seen Jokic play all the games this year? You clearly haven’t.

By the naked eye he's not doing anything different than he has in years past.

Unfortunately, the voters base these things on records and stats. Jokic is the Nuggets. He is incredible. But that needs to show up statistically. If he was putting up last seasons numbers now, he'd be on my list. He's not...

I don't know why I even bother responding to you though lol. Good day.

Awesome stats... But to his lofty standards, they pale in comparison. Other players have better stats right now, and their teams are doing just as well.

What players? All four players are similar where some has better numbers than others in certain areas and vice versa. Also bringing up team records should be used in context. Now if Mavs beat the Nuggets and Luka balls out then I will have him ahead. But they are all close.

Bird would have won 4 rings with that team, in this weak ass era of basketball.

The gao between Jokic and whomever you want to insert into slot 2 is quite large. MVP runnerup is super competitive.

There’s a big gap between Jokic and the second best player in the league.

One of the best players ever, I argue his past season was just as dominant if not more than Lebron ever had.

Not a chance the voters will give embiid back to back MVPs after his no-show in last year's playoffs.

The mvp race starts and stops in Denver - the delta between Luka and Jokic is a mile wide and Luka is a monster

Anybody know what type of offense the Nuggets run with Jokic?

Im about to start playing College Hoops 2k8 I recruited a center who is like Jokic can pass/shoot/post.

UCLA High Post, Box, Flex, Stack, Princeton, Motion, 4out 1in are my only playbook options.

Unless he gets injured, I just have a hard time seeing Jokic not winning it. I know that sounds crazy to say in November, but the gap between him and everyone else in the league is just massive. He also isn’t on a team where he can take his foot off the gas and coast a little until the playoffs. If Jokic isn’t Jokic, Denver isn’t winning too many games.

Jokic isn’t just the best player by a wide margin, he’s also the most consistent player by a wide margin.

Also add there shouldn’t be any idiotic media narrative against him this year since he didn’t win it last year and he now has a ring. Ya if he doesn’t get hurt, hard seeing anyone else get it.

Boston fan here.. Love Tatum, think he will have his best year ever. Will be Best 2 way player .. But man Joker is way above anyone as best in the league right now.

With a reasonable longevity for his career, he should be a near lock for top 10 all-time. What he is doing is historic for a Bigman. All while doing it in slow-motion.. :D

Im talking about for the video game.

Of those playbooks which do you think is the best offense to replicate what Denver does?

Princeton has a lot of cuts. UCLA uses the center at the high post.

You won't find it in 2k8... I don't think Dribble Handoffs were a thing then that you would do in a game.

Yeah I know I wont find it, im just trying to get the closest playbook so my center can rack up assist.

I think UCLA High Post and Princeton are my best options just from a quick search on Google.
