These Larry Bird mentions are wild…..guy underperformed a bunch of times that people just gloss over. LeBron is better by a order of magnitude at this point of time

1) Modern medicine
2) Lack of a long term injury

He simply is literally one of the most genetically gifted players ever in any sport

Combination of several factors. He has improved his shooting and has worked on maintaining his body since he came to the league. I remember reading articles of him doing yoga when he was a rookie with the Cavs. I am the same age as LeBron and I am in the best shape of my life, not saying it compares to anything these elite athletes do. Genetics plays a huge factor too.

You guys saying if it's PED's why isn't everyone pushing 40 with 20's athleticism and staying in their prime?

Your logic makes no sense.

Ask yourself, if it's just training and modern medicine, THEN why isn't everyone pushing 40 with 20's athleticism and staying in their prime?

You must have also thought Bonds set the HR record in his late 30's or whatever it was because "training had advanced".

You act as if PED usage in pro sports has never happened before.

right, but why arent the same drugs working/have worked for other players? How you respond to drugs is also a key, you and i couldn't take what he's taking and performing like he does. He he also is an otherworldly genetic responder to the drugs

LeBron James obviously pays the big bucks for steroids that are specially designed for LeBron James that only LeBron James has access to. The same people that create the LeBron James Steroids™ are incapable of creating steroids for other people. In fact, if others were to take LeBron James Steroids™ their athletic powers would decrease instead of increase. Also, the US government has a vested interest in making sure that LeBron is the only athlete to never get busted. Basketball learned their lesson from Baseball when they accidently let it slip that Bonds was juicing! Going back they would have never let Bonds get caught but Joe from the US government didn't have his donuts that day and instead of hitting delete on Barry's steroid results he hit send in a hangry confusion. Once Joe from the US government hit send on Barry's results the cat was out of the bag and there was no going back.

The NBA learned quick to not let that happen./

I wouldn't be shocked if he's taking something but you can't say that unless he's caught. He's still declining, but it's a graceful decline and he's went from a goat to still an all star caliber player which is still unheard of at his age. But he's not the same LeBron, you can't win a title with this LeBron as your best player and the Lakers will be in the play in or maybe get to the 6th seed, but they'll flame out in the first or second round. The days of LeBron carrying scrubs to the finals by himself are over.
