I've been a huge Draymond fan for years. Steph was "the guy" but Draymond was the leader of that team, that's rare that an unglamorous, gritty player is the unquestioned locker room guy in a team with so many talents, it's also rare that someone with so big an ego was able to know how to play his role so well and not get in the way of the other players. He was one of the great basketball minds in the league, as soon as the other side is on the ball you can see him orchestrate the whole defense, he's similar to Jokic from a defensive point of view.

This is saying nothing of how under-rated he is as a passer on that team, despite being someone that doesn't look to make flashy plays and doesn't hold the ball looking for them, it just shows how good he was at understanding how to play both sides of the ball, despite not having the shooting tools to be a great offensive player.

I really thought he was a candidate to be a great coach, a determined winner, a born leader, and a huge basketballing mind (on both defense and offense).

But he needs to grow up. His advancing years have seem him spiral more into egotism than into reserved maturity. Instead of getting better at leading his team he acts like a bully to the opposition, he's now more the brawn than the brains at GSW. It's truly pathetic and sad and I can only agree that there seems to be underlying mental health issues at play now.

I can't believe there was a time that Draymond was one of my 5 favorite players and IMO the most underrated player in the league. In his first 5 years he was the type of player that would be a fit on any team. Now there's not a team in the league that would touch him.

Nah, Dray's a fake tough guy. He's a bully. He uses his size and mouth to intimidate others who won't fight back but if he runs into someone who's real tough, he runs. A guy like Isiah Stewart.

I mean he doesnt even **** apologize and hasn't been given really consequences. In real life there's jail. Hell I got put in some mental health place for some bull that didn't warrant it even if it were true. Nothing like Draymond has done or close.

And? I guess it takes a bit of reading comprehension to understand what it means when a person says a counselor shouldn't have to counsel him considering the types they deal with on a regular. I do understand some people are still in their remedial phase of reading so no worries.
