I would say Cleveland should pull the plug on Garland, but Jerome being so awful makes it difficult. I give Garland tons of credit for trying to tough this out, but he just doesn't have it.

I think you have to go back to Jerome. Garland just doesn't have it. Maybe he needs to play 1 day on and 1 day off if you are going to play him. I would rest him game 5 and see if you can get a better version of him for game 6. Hunter as well. His shot isn't even close right now and if it is true that he still can't grip the basketball then maybe he needs time off as well.

Except we didn't. Even if they called jump balls (which is an extremely rare call in the first place since double lane violations are almost never called), we'd win the jump ball and score anyway. We were getting all the 50/50 balls there since your players were gassed.

You can use it as an excuse if you want but it doesn't change the fact that the double lane violations weren't what lost you that game.

And I would love to know what magical spiritual ball you have that would confirm this, because you definitely do not know that, nor does anyone else. It's okay to admit that you benefited massively from missed calls, just like it's okay for us to admit that Hunter should've been ejected here.

If Nesmith was the only committing the lane violation, I'd admit that we benefited. But he wasn't. Every single Cavalier also committed a lane violation on that play. One of them could have boxed him out or hustle for the board. But they didn't, you ended up losing an improbable game and now you're complaining about a 4th quarter in which you had a gigantic FT advantage.

You went to the line 13 times in that 4th and only made 5 total shots. Are you certain that we were the ones benefitting from the refs that game?

By all means, feel free to show the plays that we shouldn't have been able to go to the line for in that game. Otherwise, this is just deflecting from the point at hand.
