It's not excuses. Boston is not playing well and Doc is playing the stars way too many minutes. This will cause injuries over the long-term and it possibly already has.

I actually saw a small but short glimpse of the Celtics swag today, it occured on the second wide open three-point attempt Paul Pierce hit in overtime against the Raptors. You could see for a split second that Paul Pierce was about to talk smack but then he remembered what happened the last time he tried to do that...
