All said and done, the Celtics are a weak NBA finals contender historically.

They have an all-nba first team payer, an all-nba second team player, An all-defense player, and the six man of the year. That’s a lot of accolades for a team.

Not to mention they were somewhere around top 5 in offense and defense this year I believe? As well as top in point differential which are both usually strong indicators of a team very likely to win a championship.

Somebody is just in their feelings at the moment is all.

How is Tobias Harris received up there? Given his impact, salary, and Philly Sports reputation I would think living there isn’t very fun for him dealing with media and fans. From my vantage point it seems like fans have accepted that he’ll never come close to earning the value of his contract and give him a pass because he seems to be very likeable. I'm not getting into this beef from the Dark Ages lol (Celts/Lakers) but it was just such a truly stupid comment to say the Celtics as a team that for the past several years now has been to multiple Conference Semi Finals, multiple Conference Finals and in this scenario would now be back to back Finals' appearances would somehow be the "weakest" ever.
