Kobe shot 50% from that game. not as bad as Embiid. And Look at his starting lineup then, Smush freaking Parker, Kwame freaking Brown, and Luke freaking Walton...even peak MJ or peak Lebron couldn't carry that starting lineup.

It's not about singling out someone for their team losing and claiming "X" player would've done better in their shoes. Kobe Bryant basically quit competing as that game wore on.

You can try some smokescreen about shooting 50% but kobe basically shut down his usual aggressiveness and accepted both he and LA's fate as the deficit grew.

If you were old enough to have watched that series he was heavily (and imho rightfully) criticized just like Rick Barry was in the 1976 game 7 loss to Phoenix.
