True, pride is on the line, but Team USA is getting open looks. 1-7 from 3 in the 1st Q vs. 7-8 against was the difference.

Team USA player also gotta feel such pressure knowing they are being/will be ripped apart by the media after yesterday´s defeat

I think you're overestimating the coverage it got, especially yesterday. France wasn't going to be a pushover, and Team USA is coming off a late game with Serbia on an extra day's rest.

If that's the case, then they shouldn't be there

One would think they would show some heart presenting their country after the most embarrassing loss of their careers

He is the only one that can produce something special on this team. It's a shame he was frozen out in the fourth quarter against France.

They lost to a team that played better and deserved to win. I'm not sure they're looking at the disappointment like you are.

Meanwhile, Serbia's scored 6 points this Q, so context.

Great pass by Kemba, he’s a good passer and can hit the cutters.

Turner is embarrassingly bad on defense in this tournament.

USA playing great team D, keeping Bogdanovic quiet this quarter.

Turner is not good defender at all if you ask me. He tries to go for blocks too much which results easy buckets or him getting in foul trouble a lot.

The US competing now. All these far-fetched "they just want to get to their mom's house safe and sound", "they're confused cause lebron didn't do a new episode of taco Tuesday this week" excuses are annoying. They played badly and now they were playing well. That's really all it is
So many people who attain the heights of power in this culture—celebrities, for instance—have to make a show of false humility and modesty, as if they got as far as they did by accident and not by ego or ambition.

Hang on - in fairness, Team USA did a lot of good things in that Q to get back in it. If Team USA is getting crapped on for poor play, let's give them credit for better D, staying in front of drives, active hands, and moving well with and without the ball on the other end. Of course, it helped they made shots, too.

that's true. USA is clawing back into it, playing much better in the last 2 quarters.

Bogdanovic is on fire. How many 3s is that now for him? 7?

Who would even be players on USA roster? Lets try to pick

C : Kyle Hines / Bryan Dunston
PF : Derrick Williams / Chris SIngleton / James Gist
SF : Will Clyburn / ??
SG : ?? /?? /??
PG : Shane Larkin / Mike James

Add Donovan Mitchel, Deaaron Fox and Paul George to this team and its a great team.

Kyle Hines would have better tournament then Turner, Lopez and Plumlee combined.

On SG put Jaycee Carroll.

Also don't forget Brandon Davies, Cory Higgins and Brad Wanamaker maybe even Nigel Williams Goss.

C : Kyle Hines / Bryan Dunston
PF : Derrick Williams / Chris SIngleton / Brandon Davies
SF : Will Clyburn / Cory Higgins
SG : Jaycee Carroll /Brad Wanamaker
PG : Shane Larkin / Mike James

That's a team just from a Euroleague, and it's a strong one.
Brandon Daviesplays for some African team now, so I didnt include him

Bjelica is the worst player for Serbia, every time he's out there he does stupid stuff.
