Hang on - in fairness, Team USA did a lot of good things in that Q to get back in it. If Team USA is getting crapped on for poor play, let's give them credit for better D, staying in front of drives, active hands, and moving well with and without the ball on the other end. Of course, it helped they made shots, too.

that's true. USA is clawing back into it, playing much better in the last 2 quarters.

Bogdanovic is on fire. How many 3s is that now for him? 7?

7 so far I believe

Who would even be players on USA roster? Lets try to pick

C : Kyle Hines / Bryan Dunston
PF : Derrick Williams / Chris SIngleton / James Gist
SF : Will Clyburn / ??
SG : ?? /?? /??
PG : Shane Larkin / Mike James

Add Donovan Mitchel, Deaaron Fox and Paul George to this team and its a great team.

Kyle Hines would have better tournament then Turner, Lopez and Plumlee combined.

On SG put Jaycee Carroll.

Also don't forget Brandon Davies, Cory Higgins and Brad Wanamaker maybe even Nigel Williams Goss.

C : Kyle Hines / Bryan Dunston
PF : Derrick Williams / Chris SIngleton / Brandon Davies
SF : Will Clyburn / Cory Higgins
SG : Jaycee Carroll /Brad Wanamaker
PG : Shane Larkin / Mike James

That's a team just from a Euroleague, and it's a strong one.
Brandon Daviesplays for some African team now, so I didnt include him

You can add then Jordan Mickey (have confidence he´ll do well at Madrid this year)

Good there is a new manager now. Also I think Bogdan refusing to join had something to do with the decision.

Team USA only has 4 turnovers. They're not beating theirselves. They're just not good enough. Serbia has 22 assists to USA's 14. Serbia is 14 of 27 from 3 while the USA is 8 of 24. The rebounding differential is pretty even.

This team is just blah. They have no strength.

It's not possible to Bogdan be at TOP 5 if we didn't make semi finals?

A lot of players who were good in Europe, becomes much better after few seasons in NBA. Like Bogdanovic, Satoransky and such. But Bjelica and Marjanovic didnt seem like they improved like that at all.

Bogdanovic and Satoransky arrived in the NBA while still young, so they had a lot more potential to grow.
Having NBA training staff also helps physical development.

Bogdan deserves a spot. I don’t think Ingles has been good, and this coming from an Aussie. Baynes has been better, but I think there are people more deserving than him even.

Is this box score correct? Did Serbia really jump out to a 32-7 lead? This could have easily been USA's 4th loss this summer. We should have not won the Turkey game.

Australia
France
Serbia
Turkey (stole)

Turkey and Australia are not big-time teams. The NBA needs to address how soft they have made the game. It's making our players and the product worse.

If we reached 1/2 finals Bogdan would be strong contender for MVP of World cup. Satoransky and Mills were great too.
