First and third Play

Spoiler:

that's not the same play, where is the elbow ? i mean Mario Chalmers was one meter away from West LOL
Is the same for you ?

Anybody that's ever set a screen in basketball has stuck their elbow out like that. It happens all the damn time. I can't even fathom anybody that's played or even watched basketball closely would find something noticeable about that play.

You're easily killed. Most people are calling for a game and using Wade's past history of cheap shots as an example. It's actually been a reasonable thread, especially for the GB

It's a complete non-issue. This has gained zero traction outside of this board and the coalition of Lakers, Boston, Knicks, and Bulls fans who need something to talk about.

Even a Pacers Homer like Whitlock says it's a non-issue:

"David West elbow on Chalmers was more clear cut dirty play. No suspension for West or Wade. Let's play ball."

bring the Battier and Cole play if you want , they were called for an offensive foul ! Not this one

Oh yeah the Heat got all the calls, sorry i keep forgetting

Ah, of course. I should expect this out of you.

One difference, matey.

I never defended West's play here unlike some of you. It was definitely a dirty play.

Now, are you willing to admit that Wade's elbow was dirty? Are you willing to admit that Battier's and Cole's nut shots were dirty?

KingCuban dared you to post the gif of Wade's elbow as well. Will you do it, Maroko?

It's your call :)

He should be suspended and he won't, just like they haven't suspended him on 99% of his cheap/dirty shots. I hope the pacers unleash hansbrough on him next game. Crybaby wade really needs to be taught a lesson.

but you havent show me a play like that, the screens you showed have nothing to do with the one that Mario Chalmers received ! The both knicks players havent received an elbow, have they ? Mario Chalmers was not that close to the West LOL

For something so common, difficult to find one ^^

I'm not the OP here, Maroko.

I was just wondering if you're going to call both sides or turn a blind eye when it comes to your team.

I guess that I got my answer

PS: Why are the last two pages so screwed up?

The third play does have an elbow but the trip was more obvious.

Here's one of Al Horford. He slides over and sticks his elbow out to get Korver open.

And you're out of your god damn mind if you think West should be suspended for that play.

But again that's an illegal screen but no elbow ! West elbowed with intention to hurt Mario on his shoulder where he was previoulsy hurt in the game one, that's the difference !

How is this in anyway similar? This is an elbow to the shoulder, with West actually doing while trying to defend. Wade went for a JUMPING ELBOW to the HEAD for no reason whatsoever. Wade NO reason to jump during that play.

If it was some other individual then it's an automatic suspension.

Who said it was similar ???
West was going to hurt Mario Chalmers while Wade first intention was not to hurt Stephenson but he did it after

So if you are going to suspend Wade then it's the same for West, just simple, it's not just a moving screen, he wanted to hurt Mario on his inuuried shoulder, this is what i call a dirty play !

The thing that seems to egregious about Wade on this play is that it is a hit off the ball. It wasn't a basketball play. Illegal screens happen all the time. Flying elbows off the ball? Not so much. Add this to Wade's history, which pretty everyone except for Miami fans are willing to see as pretty checkered, and it seems pretty damn reasonable to suspend Wade for at least one game. This is was punk ass move by punk ass player. There's really little else to say.

There's an elbow there, it's just hard to see because the video quality is crap.

Here's one with Noah

Setting screens like that is extremely common.

Setting that screen is extremely common and an everyday basketball play that served a purpose. Wade's was about as unnatural of a basketball play as there could be.

The other difference is that an elbow to the bicep is not half as dangerous as an elbow to the **** head.

rofl he went to defense at full speed, he just over anticipated on the Stephenson's move, his first intention was not to hurt him but he did it after !
What was Lance doing ? Was he playing football at college ? He was like protecting his receiver for any come back

All I want is for you to acknowledge that the 3 plays I mentioned earlier were dirty. That's all. I'm just asking for some consistency here :)

So you're saying it's Stephenson's fault

He was moving to give his teammate space to work with. Another basic and everyday basketball play.
