ffs Ben's dad has more of an Aussie accent than Ben. Come on dude, stop trying so hard with that American accent. It's pathetic.

I really cant stand his personality. Always has seemed more worried about his brand than with actual team success. Lol to 18 year olds complaining they arent getting paid millions of dollars to play basketball and have to wait till theyre 19 to get paid lol. Plus if the guy was so against college why didnt he just go play in Australia or China, or hell he couldve went and played in the D league. He had plenty of options to get paid playing ball last year.

Christ, people are criticizing his accent now? Funny.

Both Grizzlies rookies are looking good. It's easy to see why Davis rose late on draft boards and Baldwin plays with serious fire and intensity. Already looking like one hell of a shot blocker for a guard and he's racking up steals as well.

Looks like we may have FINALLY hit with some picks. At minimum they have high potential to be rotation players.

Still shocked Davis went that low. He was supposed to be a sure-fire lottery player. I saw the highlights of Davis' 17 and he didn't show a lot, but still, the tools are there. Incredible value for that draft spot. Baldwin looking the goods too, as you said.

I won't say that I can't stand him, but I have bad vibes. One moment stood out to me, during the draft, cameras were following him in the back stage. One cameraman fell right in front of him blocking his path. Simmons just waited for him to get out of his way looking super annoyed as the cameraman struggled to find his feet while carrying his heavy equipment around him. Simmons wasn't obligated to help the man out, but what bothered me was how he reacted to it. I may be overreacting to a five second span in time, but like I said, it's just bad vibes so far.

Per36 that's 76.5 points per game. Wilt who?

In all seriousness though, a really nice 8 minute performance even if it was in garbage time. His stroke is smooth and he's a really nice athlete.

Embiid has got to be the front runner right now. Dunn could be a challenger given the fact that he's going get all the minutes he needs.

Obviously it's early but no rookie (other than Embiid) has really stood out.

A lot of the lottery picks are buried on the depth chart, we could Dunn and Brown get minutes with injuries to Rubio and Crowder, but Stevens doesn't run any plays for Brown and has a short leash so I'm not getting my hopes up.

Boston should have kept him, at 31 he was the perfect player to take a flyer on.

Lots of the lottery picks were picked by good teams. I can't imagine Brown and Poeltl getting a lot of minutes unless theres injuries because Raptors/Celtics are legit good teams trying to win. Ingram is on a bad team but even they have lots of young players they're trying to develop. Jamal Murray is stuck behind a couple of wings on the Nuggets and will be even further once Gary Harris comes back. Bender/Chriss are kinda competing against each other for minutes and the Suns are a pretty guard centric team. Has Thon Maker even played yet? It will likely be better for these players in the long run but won't make for outstanding rookie seasons.

Embiid, Dunn (after the injury) and Hield look seem to be the only ones in favourable situations.

Dunn showing shades of the glove. I wonder if he might have hit double digits on deflections and steals for the first half.

As long as Embiid stays healthy and gets his minutes up to around 30... There is no chance anyone else is winning it.

He was being sarcastic, Murray has been struggling.

Not just tonight. He's now 0-16 from the field for the season.

I had just saw that and edited my post. I'm sure he'll get going, but yeah, that's rough.
