Rose deserved it in 2011, he led his team to the best record and it wasn't a super team. LeBron will fall off anyway, he is relying on his shot too much. Trump supporters have a legitimate argument too, that **** was rigged.

LeBron can dominate in so many ways like shooting (like right now), passing, defense, etc ... Even if he starts to be less hot in the 3 point, he will find a way to be dominant in another way ... he's a all-time great for a reason

LeBron was never a great shooter. I'll take that over his drives any day, and he doesn't attack the pain like he used to anymore. AT some point you will have to accept the fact that he won't play forever.

He is now a good 3 point shooter in the last few years, especially when it counts (stop living if we were in 2011) and for his decline, unless he has a major injury it will not be drastic and I expect that he will still be a great player on the day he will probably be the all-time leading scorer

For his drives, he does very few this year, he save it when it's going to be important, like in the playoffs .... We saw last year in the playoffs, how his efficiency went up like crazy compared to the regular season.

Just a reminder that even though James had one great game, this entire post is still completely accurate.

There are a lot of games left in the season and LBJ has just started to take its rhythm. His 2 best games of the season were in his last 3 games....We must not forget that LBJ and the lakers had a very short off-season

The Bucks game was before I made the original post. I didn't mean he's had one great game the entire season.

And in two of his last four games, he shot 12-32 from the field (38%), 2-9 from three (22%), and 10-16 from the line (63%), with 11 assists and 11 turnovers. Fortunately, the Lakers' league-leading defense and Davis' 37 points on 73% TS% carried him through one of those games, or the team would be 2-2 over its last four.

Typical old guy stuff. Great one night, below average the next.

I bet on Lebron a few weeks back, should I hedge with Embiid?

Jokic, Curry, and Luka wont be high enough seeds

Giannis out due to playoff play and he wont be a 3x mvp in a row

Harden out to due playoffs and now with KD and Kyrie

KD out I think b/c he will likely sit games and has Harden and Kyrie

Only other west option is PG/Kawhi, but they seem to be splitting votes imo

so with dallas still sitting at a losing record even with a more intact roster can we stop pretending Luka is this great defender now?

The regular people aren't pretending, and the stans aren't going to stop pretending.

I haven't watched a ton of Dallas this season, but if enough (objective) people are saying he's improved, then he probably has. It doesn't take more than a few minute watching him, though, to know he isn't a "great" defender, lol.

I still say Kawhi, Jokic, and Embiid are the only ones I'd bet on if I were a bettor - in that order.

The only way LeBron wins is if those dudes (or their teammates) go down with COVID/injuries, and the media justifies his choice with "Remember 2011," like it was the Alamo or something.

In any case, there's one thing we can be certain of: Ramona Shelbourne's vote is rock solid.

We literally have 75% of the season left to play. LeBron will almost certainly keep trending up with his play like he always does throughout the regular season, guys like Embiid might fall back down to earth, and your boy Kawhi as we know has load management situation and that could lead to the Clippers falling behind in the standings significantly. Can you guys relax?

I'm not even saying LeBron will win, but you guys have no sense of perspective whatsoever making these declarations. "The only way he wins..." gtfo here lol. What if he just ends up having the best season and it's not some grand fraudulent media-rigged situation?

Unfortunately, the voters don't go by whatever metric this is. I'd love to see Conley get more votes than LeBron.

If these are just your numbers for MVP, that is nice and all but LeBron and the narrative are getting a ton of votes either way. Just how it goes.
