Yes. Really like him and OG from that Raptors team.
still learning the game

No surprise, we saw the same thing with DeRozan and Lowry a few years ago
For real... The NBA world is going crazy over Demar and Lowry now. They led the Raptors to multiple 50 win seasons and were one of the most winning teams during that time. It's almost like people think that's an easy feat for players lol.

If the Raptors can get into the top , there's a good chance that Fred AND Siakam make the allstar team.

Ya you're right... I got carried away there lol.
I was just thinking if the Cavs were getting both Garland/Allen in the allstar game than why not the Fred/Siakam who are putting up better numbers and might be ahead in the standings shortly.

Hey Boston got 2 Allstars last year while being a .500 team.

Funny how two of your big name stars play for the same team and have a worst record
Except both guys actually have star power. Fred has that scrappy undersized Rudy quality that people love to root for but no one actually takes seriously.
What is your definition of star power? Under achieving? Empty stats? Never improving (Tatum)? Not a team player? Only going far in the playoff when you have two other stars?

Everything about Tatum screams star. Put him in a room with a group of celebs and everyone knows Tatum. Put Fred in there and they are asking who let him in.

Well when he talked about Simmons it was dating celebs and being represented by Klutch.

Everything. He was a 5 star recruit, has a bigger shoe deal, is on more commercials, people on TV actually talk about him. Fred is like a cute contrarian hipster pick.

Re: Should Fred Van Vleet be an all-star?
Fred is peaking at the perfect moment to get his first selection as he is playing the best basketball of his career on our current 6 game winning streak. With todays game he's averaging:
31.2pts, 4.7reb, 6.7ast, 1.8stl, 0.5blk with only 1to in 36mpg shooting a 47/44/96 split.
Big game on Tuesday vs the Suns

It's getting embarassing at this point. Having a bigger shoe deal, commercials, and being talked about more doesn't make you the better player. Yes, Tatum is more marketable but he has not been a better player than Van Vleet. Learn the difference.
