People pretend as if he's some great sniper. He's not looking to bomb threes at volume. He maintains his high percentage that way by only taking looks that are very clean to him. He's more easy to run off the three point line than he should be.

The Mavs missed the playoffs without Brunson.

Curry has been god awful thus far. The nets better hope Simmons is great or this trade is looking awful

Been trying to tell some of the Nets followers in this thread that Curry isn't what he's made out to be by ESPN. People judge players by the final box score without watching in context. Curry can't/won't shoot against any defensive resistance. Plus he can't defend anybody.

The only thing of real value the 76ers gave up along with Simmons in that deal, was the '27 first round pick. Everything else was a few Magic Beans, just for window dressing.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

The thing about this is we traded a guy who quit on us for him. So if we get 2-3 years out of him before he quits then it's still a win.

Trade is worth it even if Harden quits on them next season.

They have a legitimate shot at winning the East this year. Simmons was dead weight.

Man, I'm extremely low on Ben Simmons but I can't even go this low. At the very least, he'll be a defensive stopper and highlight reel in transition. His flaws just get magnified in the playoffs after you get past round 1. Good teams and good coaches will exploit his deficiencies.

Simmons IMO will end up on the Lakers after his contract is up. Maybe after seeing how easy it was to force a trade, he'll do it again to get to LA. If he can just rehabilitate his value a bit, Brooklyn might make out in the end by trading him.

Well I meant he was dead weight on the Sixers cause he wouldn't play lol.

i don't think hes useless. He just needs to improve his FT shooting.

Even if he was good, people acting like Curry and Drummond were more than just blips in a radar in a trade involving star math were just being ignorant haters

With JoeH out, Seth becomes important for them. At the end of the day, he's just a role player but he's going to be their best role playing shooter. The problem is, simmons is not even close to being the type of impact player as harden , but I still think he is going to look quite good playing next to KD and Kyrie.
