The Clippers are back! If the rumors Bill Simmons was talking about are true and Kawhi’s gonna be back for the first round of the playoffs, they’re legit contenders. They could honestly be the second best team in the West!

I've seen Ohm post about it as well (ESPN's LAC reporter). And Simmons wasn't shooting the ****, he has plenty of sources inside the Clippers arena (he was a longtime season ticket holder), and they were hinting that if they win the play-in, that would be a green light for him (i assume the same source that told him PG was going to play in the coming days... which wasn't yet public but correct). Norm Powell could also potentially return. They could get very scary very quick.

i think warriors fall to 5th, but right now i think i worry more about Clippers even with just PG than warriors. they brought in George seemlessly and whi knows when the warriors will truly be 100%.

He does have some legit sources in the league. He also lives in LA and was a season ticket holder for the Clippers for a long time. He probably has even more sources within that particular team. He basically said he heard from people within the team that they think Kawhi’s gonna be back for Round 1. Obviously it’s far from a certainty and anything could happen, but it makes sense. Of course I have $250 on the Clippers to win the West at 40:1 so I want to believe.
