backup PG is still a huge concern. If only we drafted Haliburton

100%.

.......... don't the lack of a player who can consistently get to the hoop, especially for free throws.

Get a good back up for Chris Paul who can play in a similar style to Chris Paul.

Body him up, put athletic length on him and he is Point MereMortal. Holiday started it last yr…. Herb Jones, Brunson, Bullock and Dinwiddie finished it off. Y’all really think he will be better faster stronger next yr???? It’s just the way it is…always is.
Hang up the sneaks CP

Paul averaged 22 and 11 with only 3 turnovers a game on 56% from the floor during the first round against the Pelicans... including a record breaking game 6.

He played in 65 games during the regular season and was a huge contributor to the suns clutch play and franchise record win total.

He was obviously injured or exhausted versus Dallas and that's a knock on him.

I'm not going to suggest he can replicate what he did in the regular season or first round next year but to say "hang up the sneakers" as if he wasn't a huge part of the Suns' success this season is foolish

‘Foolish’ is a 28 mill deal followed by a 15 mill buy out. (Rather than 30 mill) Ok so he can still play, but he’s one and done now with Phnx. He was easily the worst guy on the court the last four games. You think he was injured?.. I don’t. He’s old. He doesn’t have the quickness needed to be what he was. Especially come playoff grind time. He is easily guarded by bigger guys, slowing this team down to a crawl. Game plan : Mug Paul, Beat Suns.

Sour grapes here as I was content with Rubio….now we are screwed into the lux tax and likely will part ways with Ayton. All in on CP run is over. Kind of fun for a while.

West will be tougher, Suns won’t be.

after leading 2-0 in the NBA finals last year and losing, I thought they would use that as motivation to be a much better team this year.

their regular season record told me that they did... except they might have gotten overconfident.. too cocky.. entitled.. & not tying up DA to a long term deal, clearly caused issues in the locker room..

winning the chip isnt easy. The suns just didnt have it this year. I dont think it's a good idea to keep this team. will addition by subtraction work for them?
