Greece is virtually guaranteed to advance to the semis. Do they rest Giannis and even other starters later vs Egypt?

Hmmm, interesting-- since NZ upset Croatia, i totally forgot that it's going to be a three-way tie (1-1 for everyone) if and when Slovenia holds on. BUT IF THEY WIN by 29 points, it means they'll be +13 and Croatia +12!-- They can still avoid Greece in that semifinals match-up!

Yea it's an odd case because he's clearly trying to not be deliberate which would probably have made it legal. As a ref I'm not sure how I would have called it had he made it.

I thought that as well. FIBA refs are always second tier, and they are being accused of bending to NBA starts every year. Not saying its true myself, but they get accused of it all the time.

Lead up to 25 with 3 mins to go. NZ is pretty much eliminated, now Slovenia has to reach the 29pts gap to overtake Croatia and avoid Greece.

Slovenia wins by 26 and narrowly misses on 1st group place. They'll face Greece in SF and if they win, a probable rematch against Croatia.
Luka with another TD 36/11/10. Nebo, Prepelic and Hrovat are the only ones who really help Luka.

Luka just missed a 3 pointer very late that would have given the Slovenians a 29 point win and avoid Greece. Oh well, let's go Giannis vs Luka in the next round!

It doesnt make sense, they should have played for a 2 pt play, but shot two 3s, once they reached 102 pts they only needed 28pts since they had more total points than Croatia.

Cameroon up by 24 against Brazil late in the 2nd quarter. Wtf is going on in those OQTs lol. They need to win by at least 7 pts to qualify. Brazil cant lose by more than 14pts or they are eliminated.
edit: Cameroon actually only need to win, forgot Montenegro was -5.

NZ felt how Croatia felt yesterday, two games within 24 hours isn't easy. They obviously fell off towards the end. If Greece end up 1st they get Slovenia in the semis, barring an Egypt miracle as they need 21+ win against Greece to go through.

Appreciate you guys for counting this stuff. I used to do that, its not hard, but my brain do not work that anymore, cant get invested into this stuff to such point.
